Details of 23 January 2012 transaction at A Lorch a, Macau ("Merchant")
I (cardholder) incurred dining expenses of MOP564.30 at Merchant.
I tendered my BEA Platinum Visa 4384 3701
represented at that point my desire to be charged in MOP.

Waitress presented card slip - see Attachment 2. I noticed Dynamic Currency Conversion is
being offered, and re-iterated my request to be charged in MOP. Waitress represented I can
pay in MOP by marking "X" against "MOP AMOUNT $564.30" on the slip, which I did (see
Attachment 2). I also circled the $564.30 amount.
The amount posted for HKD562.73 (see Attachment 3), which was the HKD amount offered
under Dynamic Currency Conversion in the card slip (Attachment 2).
Visa regulations believed to be violated:

Transaction Processing Violation"
Chargeback Condition 4: "4. Cardholder was not advised that Dynamic Currency Conversion

Requested action:
BEA to compel Merchant to charge back HKD562. 73 and re-charge MOP564.30 as authorised.
