0 Creative as a prerequisite to innovation: Creativity: Ability to bring something new into existence Innovation is process of doing something new. The creative process: There are five stages of creative process 1.Idea of germination(recognition): The germination stage is a seeding process. First Example :Alexander Graham Bell Bell's invention of telephone seeded by his area of interest helping others for years regarding hearing problems he spent many years in studying physics in the domain of sounds he experimenting with sound transmitting materials Finally his fertile mind moves toward the harmonic telegraphy. second example: Nolan Bushnell founded Atari and video game industry by converting home television sets into interactive media by use of micro electronic circuit For most entrepreneurs ,ideas begin with interest in a subject or finding the solution of particular problem to others. 2. Preparation(Rationalization): curiosity(interest) Search for rational knowledge Any individual with an idea consequently think about it, concentrating his /her energies on rational extensions of ideas and how it might become reality. Preparation stages will produce the results only in rare cases At this stage brainstorming about the evolution of idea involved and one should put efforts in order to gather information and knowledge vital to eventual solution of selected problem. 3.0 Incubation(fantasizing): Subconscious integration of dream(imaginative) information Incubation is a stage of think over (germinated) ideas while subconscious intellects assumes the control of creative process. Individuals allow the ideas to grow without intentional efforts.

The subconscious mind is allowed to wander and to pursue the fantasises and it is Therefore to open to unusual information and knowledge . The subconscious process has been called art of synetics. Synetics means joining together of different and often unrelated ideas. fables(stories) 4. Illuminations(realization): Recognition of idea as being feasible . Illumination is process of changing the ideas into realistic creation. it may happened the by lucky incident. For example Bell discovered harmonic telegraphy in the accidental twang(play of wires) created by Watson In reality most creative people go through the many cycles of preparation and incubation, searching for that as catalyst to give their full idea meaning. 5. Verifications(validation): Application or test to prove idea has value. An idea once illuminated still it has little meaning until verified as realistic and commercially useful. Verification is development stage of refining knowledge into application. Many good ideas fall aside, because they prove practically impossible or little value. Problems of patent with similar inventions. 2 Innovation and Entrepreneurship: The difference between innovation and invention can be explained as following 1) Invention is concerned about the creation of something new, which results in new knowledge 2) Innovation concerned about the transformation of an idea or resources into useful applications, which results in new products ,services or processes.
