WEICON RK-1300 and
RK-1500
Two-component No-Mix
structural adhesives. They pro-
vide high strength bonding even
of large surfaces. The activator
component can be applied to
one of the surfaces up to 30
days prior to fnal bonding. For
assembly, only the adhesive
component polymerizing upon
contact with the activator is
applied. The cure time is 2 to
4 minutes.
WEICON RK-1300 and RK-
1500 are suitable for all metal
surfaces (even coated) and
many plastics. They also bond
glass to metal. Both adhesives
distinguish themselves by their
extraordinary peel strength and
temperature resistance (briefy
up to +180C).

WEICONLOCK

One-component anaerobic
adhesives and sealants, espe-
cially made for metal assembly
parts.
WEICONLOCK is a fast, reliable
and economical product for
retaining, sealing and gasketing
all kinds of threaded cylinders
or fanged joints.
In threaded joints, for exam-
ple, WEICONLOCK completely
flls the threads, thus creating
the largest possible surface
contact.
WEICONLOCK is ideal for
locking and sealing threaded
connections up to M 80 as well
as for pipe and coarse threaded
joints up to 3.
Bearings, bushings, bolts and
other slip-ftted or press-ftted
parts can be retained with
WEICONLOCK.
WEICONLOCK remains liquid
as long as it is in contact with
air. Curing does not start until
the adhesive on the jointed
parts comes into contact with
metal and is deprived of air.
WEICONLOCK Activator F
The cure time can be reduced
considerably by pre-treatment
with WEICONLOCK Activator F,
which is recommended for all
passive surfaces and which is
indispensable at low ambient
temperatures (+10C or less)
and for large gaps.

Permanently plastic
universal sealant
For sealing the faces of
machine, gearbox and motor
casing fanges and to improve
the performance of both old
and new gaskets made from
paper, cork, felt etc.
WEICON Plast-o-Seal
compensates for manufacturing
defects such as scoring and
scratches thus enabling
accurate assembly and
construction with low
tolerances. There is no need
to overtighten fxings during
assembly.
WEICON Plast-o-Seal remains
permanently plastic, both before
and after assembly. It allows
easy joint dismantling and is
economical in use.
An excellent resistance to
most fuels, mineral oils,
water, air, coolant mixtures
based on methanol and glycol,
anti-freezes, kerosene, fuoro-
carbon refrigerants, etc., makes
WEICON Plast-o-Seal suitable

Without mechanical gaskets,
the gap flling capability is up
to 0,1 mm. Due to its non-sag

Cyanoacrylate Adhesives
Cold-curing one-component
adhesives, free of solvents.
They quickly polymerise by
reacting with moisture both on
the surfaces to be bonded and
from the air, and cure under
light pressure.
They will bond within
seconds almost all materials
to themselves and among each
other, such as metals, plastics,
glass, ceramics, wood, leather,
natural and synthetic rubber.







WEICON Contact
Cyanoacrylate Adhesives provide
high structural strength, with
a temperature resistance from
-50C up to +135C and good

surface structure. Thereby,
the joining of materials like
polyethylene (PE) and
polypropylene (PP), belonging

elastomers (TPE), Tefon

other without the necessity to
use a primer.
WEICON Flex 310 M is
immediately overpaintable
(wet-in-wet) and sandable

resistance to salt water,

WEICON Flex 290 M
Contrary to Flex 310 M, this
product cures to a transpa-
rent/clear material. Therefore,

Zinc Coating
WEICON Zinc Paint
The Zinc Paint is based on
spherical (ball-formed) zinc
pigments in a concentration
of approx. 92-93% in the dry
flm and on a mixture of binding
agents made of artifcial resins.
The resulting properties provide
corrosion protection in line with
the former DIN 50976 norm
(edition 03/1980) for all metal
surfaces and also fulfl the
higher requirements of the
new DIN EN ISO 1461.
The cathodic corrosion
protection is achieved through
an electro-chemical sealing-up
effect of the ingredients exactly
modulated to each other.
WEICON Zinc Coating
The Zinc Coating is based
on strictly pure zinc and
aluminium pigment fakes
produced in a special process.
As well as protecting against
cathodic corrosion it also
provides a good barrier effect
(shingle effect).
The ingredients, which are in
a perfect blend, have the effect
that the zinc fakes deposit
themselves in the lower layer
and the aluminium fakes in the
upper layer.
This results in a colour tone
that, on the whole, matches hot
galvanizing.
