The Worlds First Extreme Weather IP Camera

To empower security systems to continuously capture video under extreme weather conditions, Moxa introduces the worlds first extreme weather IP camera, the VPort 36-1MP series, which delivers 720P HD video streams in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 75C with no fan or heater required.

Extreme Reliability

Consistent with Moxas core value of industrial reliability, Moxas new generation of extreme weather IP cameras use exceptional thermal conductivity technology. The VPort 36-1MP IP camera is designed to capture 1280 x 720 HD video in areas with wide temperature variations, ranging from -40 to 75C. Protected in an IP68-rated vandal-proof housing, this H.264 box type IP camera provides high EMI/surge immunity, video image analytics, and true fanless and heater-free operation to transmit reliable surveillance images in harsh environments.

H.264 HD Performance

Using a 1/2.7 progressive scan CMOS image sensor, the box-type VPort 36-1MP IP camera can provide three simultaneous H.264 and MJPEG video streams with 1280 x 720 HD resolution at 30 FPS. Utilizing H.264 technology, the VPort 36-1MP delivers superior HD images with minimum bandwidth and storage consumed. The field camera also features DynaStream technology that can increase frame rate in response to security events and reduce frame rate to optimize bandwidth usage.

Moxa adds ONVIF support to its full line of IP surveillance products to promote global interoperability. Compliant with ONVIF specifications, Moxas IP surveillance solutions provide flexible security system deployment for both system integrators and end-users. Migration to IP surveillance is seamless with Moxas unique rugged IP surveillance products and requires no replacement of existing CCTV equipment.

The VPort 36-1MP provides best-in-class image quality with enhanced details to meet your security needs. With 720P HD resolution, the VPort 36-1MP uses DNR (digital noise reduction), WDR (wide dynamic range) and BLC (back light compensation) technologies to reduce noise and motion blur, overcome poor lighting conditions, and recover images from a wide dynamic range of dark to light. The optional de-mist function also ensures a good image quality in rainy, snowy, or hazy environments. Day/Night Visibility
The VPort 36-1MP accepts various C/CS-mount lenses to provide flexible viewing angles and distance characteristics. Available as a default feature, the VPort 36-1MP is equipped with a 3.1mm - 8mm auto-iris lens and a removable IR cut filter to deliver true day and night visibility. With this optional lens, the VPort 36-1MP can stream vivid images with high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and low noise.

DynaStream for Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation

DynaStream is an intelligent frame rate control technology in form of firmware embedded in Moxas VPort IP video devices. DynaStream allows for frame rate adaptation in response to network traffic and triggered events during video transmission. Users can choose to designate specific bandwidth limits or allow allocation of more bandwidth for video streaming upon a triggered event.

Pre-alarm & Intelligent Video Analysis

VPort 36-1MP includes Intelligent Video Analysis functions that offer quick detection of a wide variety of threats. Using advanced image analysis algorithms, VPort 36-1MP allows user-defined motion detection of unauthorized camera tampering, virtual fence, object counting, alert zone, missing object, and unattended object. Combined with a 24MB prealarm buffer and prompt alert functions, the VPort 36-1MP enables surveillance staff to quickly retrieve and review details of any abnormal events from video recorded onto the SD/ SDHC card. VPort SDK Plus for SCADA Surveillance

Moxas surveillance products includes a free VPort ActiveX Software Development Kit (SDK) that helps engineers integrate event videos into surveillance management or SCADA displays. With the ActiveX source code, it is easy to deploy video popups on open SCADA/HMI. SCADA users can monitor live video and review pre-event images over the IP network with VPort series IP cameras.
