Introduzione
Cosa spinge lessere umano a trovare il proprio godimento nella soerenza altrui, e a tagliarsi fuori dalla societ scegliendo di vivere allombra delle sue azioni? E cosa spinge la societ allinteresse morboso verso il crimine, come ci dimostrano i media di oggi? Semplice curiosit, paura, sadismo o semplicemente spirito di conservazione? In questa mia breve trattazione cercher di trovare una risposta a queste domande ripercorrendo le tracce del crimine nel panorama storico, letterario ed artistico, immergendomi attraverso la psicanalisi della mente umana per ritrovarne le origini.

Freud e l aggressivit

Freud analizza la presenza di violenza e aggressivit immotivata nella natura umana seguendo la sua teoria delle pulsioni. Nelluomo sono presenti istinti di vita, Eros, ed istinti di morte, Thanatos: queste due pulsioni sono sempre implicate in ogni comportamento che la risultante di queste due forze, data dal prevalere di una o dellaltra. La natura umana caratterizzata, secondo Freud, da un assoluto egocentrismo. Ogni azione riconducibile alla volont di soddisfare un proprio piacere. Secondo Freud esistono tre istanze della personalit : lEs, lIo e il Super-Io. L Es ci da cui ha origine ogni relazione istintiva, ma anche le pulsioni di morte. Possiamo denirlo come la sede di tutto ci che irrazionale, impulso, istinto. Il Super-Io, al contrario, rappresenta la regola, la razionalit. E ci che gli altri credono giusto che tu faccia. Per cui dettato dallinterazione con la societ. Il Super-Io agisce secondo una logica convenzionalmente riconosciuta come giusta dagli altri, e non da ci che lindividuo realmente desidera. L Io il mediatore tra queste due istanze.L aggressivit secondo Freud si manifesta molto presto nel bambino; ci evidente soprattutto nella forma detta positiva del complesso dEdipo, in cui appare chiaro il desiderio di uccidere il padre, il quale viene visto dal bambino come un rivale che gli impedisce di raggiungere il soddisfacimento sessuale con la madre.Dato che il complesso dEdipo considerato come una struttura universale, ne consegue che ogni bambino destinato a provare sentimenti di odio nei confronti del padre. una componente costante nello sviluppo di ogni bambino, e che quindi non pu venir impedita: sar la corretta risoluzione del complesso dEdipo, con tutto ci che ne consegue, a deviare laggressivit del bambino verso altre mete e oggetti.In alcuni casi Freud vede laggressivit come una componente della pulsione sessuale; ci evidente secondo lui in patologie come il sadismo e il masochismo.Sia che si parli di istinti, sia che si parli di pulsioni, qualsiasi uomo visto come un soggetto dotato di una carica aggressiva innata.

Jack the Ripper was the worlds first famous serial killer, who killed five prostitutes in Englands capital London more than a hundred years ago. In those days, London was still the biggest city of the world, and the East End, where the murders took place, was the hugest slum of Englands capital. Londons East End was known for the place where prostitutes and poor people lived in tiny little streets. It was a rather unpleasant place to live; unemployment and low wages brought poverty and homelessness, and a general feeling of desperation provoked the air. Robbery and assault were commonplace, and gangs ruled the streets. It was the murderer Jack the Ripper, who managed to scare Londons inhabitants to death for about three months. At that time, the fatal disease pest was the reason why so many people lost their lives. The murders happened between the sixth of August and the ninth of November, every time at night between eleven oclock and four oclock in the morning; his victims were only women who sold their bodies to men in the streets, called prostitutes. The whole Jack-the-Ripper-Story began 31st August 1888 when the dead body of the first acknowledged Ripper victim was found in Londons East End. It was a woman called Mary Ann Nichols, also known as Polly, who worked as a prostitute.The murderer strangled the girl and cut her throat to the spine; he also lacerated her abdomen.Here the chase began. Annie Chapman is the name of the second Jack the Ripper victim. Her nickname was Dark Annie, a prostitute too.Jack the Ripper left his second victim after ha-

ving cut her throat and mutilated her body in a terrible manner. Another terrible and frightening fact is that the killer also removed the uterus from the abdomen, in an extremely brutal way. The night of the 29th September 1888 was the special night where the murderer Jack the Ripper committed an extremely terrible and frightening double murder. The first victim of that night and Jack the Rippers third victim in general was the prostitute Elizabeth Stride,also called Long Liz.A man found the dead body of the prostitute,people think that this man probably disturbed the murderer, because the young Womans throat had been cut so recently. Less than an hour after having found Elizabeth Strides dead body, the corpse of another prostitute called Catherine Eddows was discovered not far away from the previous place.Jack the Rippers fourth acknowledged victim had been ferociously attacked, especially around the face and abdomen, with some of her internal organs, like the uterus, removed. The fifth and last Ripper victim is called Mary Jane Kelly, the prettiest and also youngest of all the killed women.It was the most gruesome and frightening attack of all the murders. Miss Kellys body was horribly mutilated, her face hacked beyond recognition and her heart was lacking.
