The Set-up Unit Goals:

Pupils will be recapping on basic parts of computer and its functions. They are
also able to develop their ICT skill, writing skill, reading skill as well as
communication skill.
Learning Objectives:
• Able to identify different types of hardware such as camera, keyboard,
mouse system units and etc.
• Able to discuss the functions of each hardwares during oral questioning in
ICT term more than 65% correctly.
• Able to contribute ideas during discussion with peers during group
work’s exercise.
Materials: PCs, Interactive Whiteboard (IWB), internet connection.
The Lesson The Hook: Teacher will point out different types of computer hardware available
around the computer laboratory before begin the PowerPoint Presentation to

Exploration:

Summary: Transfer and synthesize current knowledge to a new learning of
technologies. On previous lesson, they know basic functions of hardware.
Today, they need to write in complete sentences by typing up the answers
on the installed MS Words. They also learn on how to save their complete
work independently.
The Closure Application: Student will learn on how to save MS Words documents on their
