Allianz Real Estate is the strategic centre of real estate expertise within the Allianz Group and a leading international real estate investment and asset manager. Allianz Real Estate develops and executes tailored portfolio and investment strategies worldwide on behalf of the Allianz companies, including direct as well as indirect investments. In addition, Allianz Real Estate is mandated to acquire and manage longer-term fixed-rate commercial real estate loans in Germany, France and the USA on behalf of Allianz entities. The operational management of direct, indirect and debt investments is performed in 6 international Allianz Real Estate subsidiaries and hubs in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, the USA and Singapore. The headquarters of Allianz Real Estate are located in Munich and Paris. As part of the buy-manage-sell philosophy, Allianz Real Estate focuses on new acquisitions and creating value through the asset management process. The intention of Allianz is to increase its total volume of real estate investments from the current approx. 22 billion to about 30 billion Euro over the next few years. With this, the share of real estate in the Allianz investment portfolio will increase from the current 4% to approx. 6%.The objective is to develop and manage a globally diversified portfolio.
