1. Object Demonstration activities aim to select suitable horticulture technologies oriented market needs and extension methodology for the small scale farmers, due to prepare the detail extension plan and technical guideline. 2. Concept 1) Identify new marketable fruits and vegetables for small scale famers in the region 2) Verify good horticulture production techniques practiced by small scale farmers in the region 3) Improve horticulture production techniques to tackle a problems faced small scale farmers in the region and also CP Team Acquire good practices thru above activities 3. Number of Demo Agriculture institutions (Research field or Nursery): each 1 Demo per Governorate *Demo in Agricultural institutions will conduct with above concept 1), 2) and 3) Farmers field: each 3 to 4 Demo per Governorate in spring season 2012 (will be establish another 3 to 4 farmers in autumn season 2012) *Demo in Farmers field will conduct with above concept 1) and 2) 4. And MoAWR will provide labor only in Agriculture Institutions Function of Demo: Establish Demo field for new technologies at Agriculture institutions first to develop such technologies, then at exemplary farmers field to evaluate their adaptability. Candidate location of Demo in Agriculture institutions are; Ainkawa & Gerdarasha Research (Erbil), Bakkrajo Research (Sulaimania), Malta Research or Malta Nursery (Duhok)
