Raw Water Quality Analysis

Existing Condition There are 7 Water Treatment Plant for Zone 1 : a. 5 WTPs located in Kec. Neglasari (IPA Mekarsari), raw water taken from Cisadane River, distributed to Kec. Batu Ceper and Cipondoh b. 1 WTP located in Kec. Benda (IPA Benda), raw water taken from Saluran Irigasi Cisadane Timur, distributed to Kec. Benda c. 1 WTP located in Kec. Banjar Wijaya (IPA Banjar Wijaya) , raw water taken from Situ Cipondoh, distributed to Banjar Wijaya residence In order to be used as drinking water, those raw water should meet the requirement from PP 82/2001, specifically for Class I. Here are the water quality analysis in each point and its compliance to the referred regulation. Cisadane River Water Quality Analysis Analysis for Raw Water is carried out both internally and externally. Internal sampling is conducted every week and external sampling (by Sucofindo) is conducted every month. In PP 82/2001, there were physical, inorganic chemical substance, microbiological, and radioactive paremeters. For physical paremeters, there was no issue, since all parameters comply to PP 82/2001, both internal and external measurement . But for inorganic substances, some parameters didn't meet the requirement such as Iron Dissolved, Manganese, nitrite, zinc, and total phospate. And also we also need to give more attention to microbiological aspect that significantly exceeds the threshold limit value.

Detail information for measurement results (maximum, minimum, and average) in each month were summarize in Attachment A. This table describes percentage of samples that comply to PP 82/2001 for Class I (which can be used for drinking water) The calculation to get the percentage value is : number of sample that meet the regulation x 100% number of sample Tabel 1.2 Performance Cisadane River Performance (based Parameter Faecal Coliform Nitrite Total Phosphat Total Coliform BOD Suspended solid Zinc Fe COD Manganese DO Ammonia Florida Cooper

As we can see, the table show the performance starting from the poorest quality which are faecal coliform, followed by nitrit and total phosphat Therfore, it is urgently required to provide treatment for biological aspect. We can also see that inorganic chemical usually didnt meet the treshold limit We can conclude that Cisadane didn't River meet PP 82/2001. As consequences, it couldn't be classified as Class I, and confirmed as Class IV Saluran Irigasi Cisadane Timur Water (IPA Benda) Quality Analysis Tabel 1.3 The average value of all parameters at Saluran Irigasi Cisadane Timur during 3 years, 2010-2012 Parameters Turbidity Color pH Iron Dissolve Ammonia Nitrite Manganese Total Dissolved Solid
