B.Affective 1. Character Involved in the student-centered learning, students are assessed at least make progress in showing the character of creative, responsible and appreciative friends. 2. Social Skills Involved in the student-centered teaching and learning, most students rated progress in demonstrating social skills perlaku be a good listener, ask questions, submit ideas or opinions and communicate. V. Learning Materials Properties Of Matter 1. Explain the material

Matter is anything that takes up space (has volume) and has mass. Not all the material we can see and touch us. For example, air. Air is a gaseous material that can not be seen or touched. The material in nature, whether it be gas, solid, or liquid related substances contained in such materials. Examples of gaseous substances: Nitrogen Oxygen Hydrogen Carbon dioxide

Examples of liquid substances: Water Alcohol

Examples of solid substances: Gold Iron Sugar Salt

2. Explain the physical and chemical properties of matter The properties of matter can be divided into two, namely the extensive and intensive properties A. Extensive properties Extensive properties are influenced by the properties of matter size, shape and quantity of substances (matters). Example: Mass and volume, Because they are influenced by the size, shape, and quantity of matters. In this case, the larger the size of an object, the larger the volume and mass. B. Intensive properties Intensive properties are properties of matter matter properties are roomates are not inflenced by the size, shape, and quantity of substance. Intensive properties can be divided into duajenis ie, physical and chemical properties. 1. Physical Properties Of Matter The properties of an object can be observed roomates, sensed, and heard Usually relate to the physical properties of the objects. Physical properties are properties Possessed by a matter, when the matter does not change into a new matter. 1) Color Colour is a physical property of substance causing visual sensation. In other words, color is the property of objects that depends on the light that they reflect. Every substance has a given color roomates can differentiate the

substance from other substances. Example: Milk is white, carbon or charcoal is black, leaves are green, and so on. 2) Aroma or Odor Aroma associated with gas or vapor released by the material. Example: Durian fruit has a fragrant aroma, while ammonia has a pungent odor and nonrefreshing. 3) Taste Taste relates to the composition of a material. Example: Sugar has a sweet taste, salt has a salty taste, and so on. 4) Phase Substances or matters can be in the form of solid, liquid or gas. It depends on the possible condition. The phase of a substance is one of the physical properties influenced by temperature and pressure. The phase of a substance closely relates to the melting, boiling, and freezing points of the substance. In this case, they are constant in value for certain substances and the values are different for every substance. Example: Water has a freezing point of 0 C and table salt has a freezing point of 800C. 5) Density Density is a property of a substance representing the mass per unit of volume. Density is also called the specific mass and simbolized as rho () 6) Solubility Related to the ability of a substance to dissolve in a solvent. Example: Sugar is soluble in water, while sand is insoluble in water. 7) Soludity Dealing with the softness of a hard material. Example: Diamond is extremely high solidity havingan object, if it is Compared to other objects. 8) Electrical Conductivity and Heat Objects can conduct electrity roomates and heatwell are called conductors, while objects roomates can not conduct electricity and heat are called insulators.

Example: Conductors: iron, steel, aluminum, gold, silver, Insulators: wood, paper, rubber, plastic 9) Magnetic Properties Related to the ability of a substance to be affected by a magnetic field. 2. Chemical Properties of Matter Chemical Properties are the properties of an objects Relating to the formation of a new substance. The chemical properties can be used to explain the ability of a substance to change into other substances dissimilar. The following are examples of chemical properties of a substances. 1) Flammable Flammability is a chemical property of a substance dealing with the ability to catch fire and burn. Not all substances are flammabel. Water is substance which is inflammable. Meanwhile, gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, dry wood, and paper are exampls of objects which are flammable. 2) Corrosible Metals, such as iron and zinc are corrosible. Meanwhile, plastic and glass cannot rust. The rusting of a metal occurs because of the interaction between the metal and air (oxygen). 3) Decomposable Food usually can rot down and turn sour in taste. This is caused by the chemical reaction in the substance. 4) Corrosive Corrosive is a propertty of a substance which can destroy other substances, including metals. It is a chemical property of a substance. The example of corrosive substances is sulfuric acid. 5) Explosive Some objects in this nature can have explosive property because of their interaction with air (oxygen) or other substances. for example, uranium, magnesium and sodium

6) Poisonous Any poison prossessed by an object is a chemical property. It relates to the chemical substance contained in the object. For example, pesticide, fungicid and herbicide are examples of the poisonous substances. 7) Acid and basic Some kinds of substances are acidic, and others are basic. VI. Phase IV: Exchanging Information Discusses Students carry out the teacher's instructions. Implementation and Problem related material taught. Pair. Teacher ordered one of each pair to describe the information that has been Students discuss and work on the problems A pair of student present the results obtained and answer the questions in front of class submitted by teachers to their partner. And after switch roles. Teacher provide the questions on the worksheet for discussions with their partner. Share. Teacher invite couples who want to come forward to answer the questions provided. Phase V: Reward Teachers give a gift to the spouse who obtained the highest score. Teachers provide evaluation questions Final Activity Phase VI: Students conclude the lesson. Students answer the questions
