Trying to explain our new 115RC Linear Motion Track System is a bit of a challenge, so here goes
Youll the 115r C Linear Track Motion System is quite different from most Accuride products. That's because it can be installed and congured in many different ways to incorporate movement, guidance, support, or positioning into applications. We see this versatility inspiring a vast array of creative and imaginative movement solutions. In fact, its likely there are hundreds of applications for the 115RC system that we havent even dreamed of yet. carriages are inserted, keep the carriages securely within the track. Choices, Choices, Choices

Heres where the products versatility comes into play: the tracks and carriages can be side, at, or vertically mounted. w hen (or horizontally) mounted, the track may be oriented with the ball carriage facing up or down. Tracks may be mounted singly or in multiples that are parallel for more controlled movement. Lets take a look at the various mounting congurations in relation to applications. Side mounted, the 115RC system may be used as a guide, or for positioning a cover, shield, or component that requires use in multiple positions. sing only u one ball carriage, the system will support up to 110 pounds in this mounting conguration. Vertical mounting is used for nonweight-bearing applications to control height or position for items such as trays, shelves, keyboards, or assemblies. Flat mounted on a ceiling, with the carriages hanging from the track, the system could be used to provide movement for panels or screens in applications such as room dividers, display panels or other communication devices including white boards or projection screens for conference, training, or class rooms. Another use might be to carry backdrops for photography or lming. In hospitals or medical ofces, the system might carry privacy panels, curtains, or art panels to cover equipment. Flat mounting the system on a lower surface or oor might be a solution for rigid panels that divide space or determine access. The tracks may provide a method to close off space, or again, be used for communications or display purposes.

So Simple, Yet So Versatile

There are two basic components that make up the system: lightweight

The variety of ways the carriages may be used further expands application opportunities. Carriages may be used separately to provide independent movement of lighter elements, or combined as a unit to provide greater control when carrying bulky or heavy items. Additionally, both methods may be used within one track. The number of carriages used per track is virtually unlimited and determined by the application.

The load capacity of the 115r C Linear Track System is based on the type and number of ball carriages used and the orientation of the carriages. The maximum capacity for dened and tested congurations is 265 pounds. Visit our web site for more information regarding load capacity. Due to the extensive array of applications and possible congurations, we recommend that customers rst test this product in the intended application. In all applications, it is advised that the weight of any mounted components be evenly distributed across the carriages for smooth and reliable performance.

The tracks come in two lengths (47" and 94"), which can be cut down to the desired length, or butted together to create whatever length is needed. Keep in Mind
One thing to remember when designing your 115RC movement solution is that this product is not recommended for hightorque applications. Although it is strong and stable when installed according to the tested load congurations, the components are constructed of lightweight materials an advantage in many situationsbut not when subjected to twisting or loads that are not borne equally across the carriages. The 115RC has unlimited potential in a host of applications, some of which have not yet come to our attention yet although we look forward to hearing about your creative solutions. Carriage Considerations
The carriages are available with stainless steel or polymer ball bearings. The stainless steel option provides a higher load rating, while the polymer is greaseless and operates more quietly.
