Advice To The Muslims In The West.

Our shaykh (may Allah preserve him upon good), started off by saying: When living in a place for example like America; which exists within in that which is in opposition to the religion of Islaam, and the Muslims live there with its people. The Muslims ask: How do we work in our homes, in regards to our wives and children? How do we correctly adhere to our religion? How do we work with our brothers in dealing with important affairs such as; aiding, trust and being truthful in your dealings until the non-Muslims see from the Muslims that Islaam is a religion of order, obedience and trust? They must know this. The non-Muslims look towards the Muslims asking, What is this? and Why do you do that? This is dawah from you. This is establishing Islaamic dawah, and showing the goodness of Islaam. You show this in your behaviour and actions. Along with this, you must have correct and sound books within your homes. It is a must that you have books on Aqeedah and Manhaj, and the affairs of Islaam which are needed. When you are with you wife study the way in which the Prophet (Allahs peace and blessings upon him) ate his food. Learn about how ate. What were his actions while eating? How did he receive his food? How do you honor guests in your home? How do you show respect to them from the ways of Islaam? How do you educate your children when you have those whom go to American universities, and learn what is in opposition to the legislated laws and religion of Islaam? Fear Allah oh son from doing that! Do this! Dont work in that! Leave from this type of job my son and work in this! Nothing clarifies this except Ilm (Knowledge); Ilmud-Deen (Knowledge of the religion). Ilmud-Deen is important. It is a must that one is knowledgeable of those things which must be acted upon in the religion and that he teaches his children. Anything which is in contradiction to Islaam, tell your family not to do that. Tell them to mention Allahs name when we do an action. Bismillah (In the name of Allah). When we eat, Bismillah. At the time of sleep, Bismillah. Before you drink, Bismillah. Before you enter the bathroom, Bismillah and establish the duaa before entering. This is the path and encourage to it. Teach your wives and they will teach your children. Teach your older children and they will aid in teaching your younger children. Become firm upon

Aqeedah and Manhaj, and then the other affairs of Islaam. In this affair we ask that Allah guide us to its completion.
