currency exchange rates with US dollars as the source currency and 100 as the source value.
The Conversions bar has two buttons for additional functions:
● Last Used: Displays a list of the last conversions performed, and enables repetition of a
previous conversion.

Writing and Translation Tools
Cross-Translation
Cross-translation is a special type of definition display, optimized for users who need help writing in a language
other than their own. Cross-translation is available only when both dictionaries of a language pair (e.g.,
German>English and English<German) are installed.
In cross•translation display, Babylon 6 displays translations in the target language as well as reverse
translations in your term, or source, language.
Whenever you query a term for translation, by default Babylon 6 provides the normal definition in the defined
target language.
Displaying Cross-Translations
To switch to cross-translation display, click the cross-translation button to the right of the definition.
Cross-translation display:
Normal display
The cross-translation display remains in effect until you click the button again to restore the normal translation
display.
If only one of the required dictionaries for cross-translation is installed, Babylon 6 will still show the cross-
translation button. When you click the button, Babylon 6 will prompt you to download the missing dictionary.
If you confirm the download, the dictionary will be downloaded.
If rejected, Babylon 6 will remain in normal translation display.
Conjugations
Babylon 6 can display a list of all possible conjugations and inflections (e.g. future, present progressive form,
plural, etc.).
Whenever a term has conjugations/inflections, a down•arrow is displayed next to the part of speech notation.
Clicking the button opens the conjugations/inflections list.
The Conjugations button may appear when the mouse hovers over a term in a cross-translation display.
Clicking the button opens the conjugations list for the selected term.
Click on any of the conjugations/inflections in the list to perform a copy/paste function.
● Copy: Copies the term to the Windows clipboard.
● Paste to [application name]: Pastes the term directly into the application you are currently using,
at the text cursor position. Babylon 6 uses the standard Windows paste mechanism, so that copied
text is formatted according to the target application.
