Process of Agnihotra Farming

Prepare your farmland for cultivation just as you always do. Make a firm resolve not to use any chemical fertilizer or pesticide etc. and get set to cultivate your land with this method. Due to some unavoidable reason if Agnihotra is not performed on a certain day, it will not harm anything but make sure that it is continued from the next time. Right from sowing till harvesting Agnihotra has to be performed regularly on the farm. Agnihotra ash can be sprayed on the entire farmland before sowing the crop. There is no fixed dosage for this. Even if you have only 1 Kg. or even less than this quantity of ash, it will do for one acre. If it is impossible to perform Agnihotra in a field then spray this ash in somewhat larger quantity.
