raoul Vezina died peacefully at home with family by his side, on May 6, 2013. raoul was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 yrs, Denise Estelle Granger and will be missed by his children, roger Vezina (Carol), Leonel Vezina (Joyce), Louise Fox (tom), Suzanne Hof (John), Claudette Hampson (Lorne), 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. raoul will be dearly remembered as a very loving, resourceful, multi-talented gentle man with a very green thumb. He loved to laugh and over the years, inspired many great and unforgettable family gatherings. a funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Parish Church, Merritt, on Saturday, May 11th, at 1 pm. in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Lung association at www.lung.ca

Dorothy ellen Harris Born august 27, 1938 in new Denver, BC to Charles Edmund and Daisy Victoria. Dorothy married ivan turmel in 1955 and they had 5 boys. Blain (Laurie), Barry, Brent (Lynn), Bradley, Vann (Diana). Dorothy married allan Wilson Harris (ike) in 1988. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Colleen (ron) Hewat, Evelyn (Danny) Pochay and Linda (roy) Fernholm. Dorothy was blessed with six grandchildren, Jordie (Melissa), Cody (Kim) Devan, Dylan, Breanna, Wyatt, great-grandchildren, Kolby and Dani and long-time campanion, Missy. Dorothy will once again be with her sons, Barry and Bradley. a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 2:00 pm at Lower nicola Community Hall.
