Purpose: A committed group of disciples desiring to multiply their lives into others, who will provide leadership to the movement by: Using and developing the gifts God has given you to serve the body of Christ. Being trained by staff to develop vision for personal ministry. Work together to help plan and run activities we do within FCA / AIA such as: Weekly Meetings, Retreats, Socials, Service Projects and Summer Opportunities.
Biblical Basis: For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers. ~ Proverbs 11:14 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. ~ 2 Timothy 2:2 Character Qualities: Makes their walk with God a priority. Works on developing their relationship with Jesus independently as well as through FCA / AIA and local church involvement. Has a desire to live out the Greatest Commandments: Love God; Love Others (Matt 22:37-39), to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20). Is Faithful, Available, Teachable and has a Heart to Serve. Willing to be vulnerable and authentic in order to create a loving, grace-based, spiritual community.

Developed in Your Leadership Coached and Trained by staff Opportunities to take steps of faith and lead. Take part in times of vision casting, planning, problem solving...etc.
Commitment for 2013-2014 school year: 1 hour weekly SALT meeting Attendance at the FCA / AIA weekly meeting and events is a priority Regular discipleship time with an FCA / AIA staff member (preferably one hour a week) Multiplying your lives: Being intentional each week to disciple another athlete, lead a Bible study, or help organize FCA / AIA events. Maintaining a 2.25 GPA
I understand the purpose and biblical basis for SALT, desire to live out the character qualities outlined in Ephesians 4:17-5:21 (see back), and agree to uphold the commitment needed for an effective leadership team during the 2013-2014 year.
