REFUGEES in JORDAN Innovation in caring for Mass Homelessness

The Syrian refugee crisis in Jordan, Lebanon and 3 other countries is worsening. Critical supplies arent getting through due to lack of cooperation, indifference, ignorance and being overwhelmed. Yet, a green, innovative solution is already organized and ready to scale. It shifts the focus from problem to solution. Includes the Refugees as stakeholders and empowers them to create mini-communities in the camps to improve the atmosphere and stay positive until they can return to their country. King Abdullah II of Jordan asked Gill Wallace Hope to lead an international collaboration that would address the scale and speed of the refugees which are mainly women and children. Jordan has already invested $3 bn. Over 450,000 Refugees equivalent to 10% of the population will surge to 20% by December 2013. So speed and large scale resources are needed which the G242 Governments can provide. UN will continue to provide the warehousing, transportation and distribution. Gill Wallace Hope has asked Jordan Air, Ethihad and Emirates to provide all unused cargo space on every flight from the sponsoring countries.
