Create a new LINK.. 1.

Open the netact software

2. Search the main site from the sheet, 3. Find its nearer two different sites 4. Click to the symbol of red line(make a p to p link) and make two links between the main site and other two sites( Get the distance of these three sites with each other. If the dist is <7 then generally use 0.6 antenna If >7 then use 1.2 antenna) 5. Click on the view type symbol to open the 2d view on the window.. 6. Select the creative site 7. Click the LINKS option from the menu bar.. 8. One window will open which contain different features like frequency, antenna etc 9. Now select one of the two links, 10. Click on the links symbol from the menu, 11. General-> change the name of the site. 12. Linked setting-> 1. radio A: Radio equipment: fhp15_32m Max power, pmax: change if interference will be there. 2. radio B: Radio equipment: fhp15_32m Max power, pmax: change if interference will be there. 3. frequency: Band: 15ghz/18ghz Channel: f1/f2

Polarization: vert/ hori (Generally low dist vertical , High dist horz AND as freq & dist increases so losses will also increase.!!! ) Designation: high/low, its depend on the another site configuration. 4. antenna A: antenna type: 15ghz/1.2 m It depends on the another site link which is connected to main site as well as another site(high,low,f1,f2) height: 35m(from sheet) 5. antenna B: antenna type: 15ghz/1.2 m It depends on the another site link which is connected to main site as well as another site(high,low,f1,f2) height: 35m(from sheet) 13. Finally check the performance. If it is not the -34dbm then again configure. Example: -29 is there means we need 5 for -34, so less 5 from radio A & B(20->15) 14. Fill up all the details according to criteria and commit it out.. 15. Check interference, if it is less then -85(-84 or -83) then again configure..!!!!! For checkout the interference level, Go to tools-> interference wizard( if less then -85(-84) at any one side make some settings.) 16. For make out the report of links, Click on reports on menubar -> link reports -> select the link and proceed. If new sites have created and we have to rename on the netact, If incase we have to relocate the site so first we have to change it out its latitude and longitude and check the performance, if it is out of -34dbm then make the settings to improve it.

Click on SITES button then msc1 then bsc1, add sites-> site, change late-long, right click on the name-> view property, change the name, apply, commit, redraw.!!!!

For FPR link creation in net act site, Radio A: fpr 15ghz_256_28 Antenna A: same as pdh Fpr link report mate 85E1 instead of 16E1, ATPC= 0-20 DB

ATPC- Adaptive transmit power control

It can be used to improve the spectrum efficiency of fixed links

by limiting the transmit power to that required to maintain a constant bit error rate (BER) regardless of the propagation conditions. This results in a reduced transmit power being used during clear sky conditions, meaning that the interference resulting from the ATPC link is correspondingly lower. This improves the frequency reuse factor associated with a given band and geographic area, providing a spectrum efficiency gain.
