RECAP: Starter Jeremy Bonderman and RH Andrew Kittredge held the Padres to 2 hits, while RF Eric Thames, 3B Alex Liddi, 1B
Rich Poythress and 2B Carlos Triunfel each hit home runs as Tacoma shutout Tucson 8-0 and extended their winning streak to 9 games
on Thursday night. The 9-game winning streak is the Rainiers longest since stringing together wins in 9 consecutive games from June 29July 8, 2010. Bonderman (8.0,2,0,0,1,7) recorded his 2nd win of the season, setting season-highs innings pitched and strikeouts.
Kittredge tossed a 1-2-3 9th inning to secure the victory. The Rainiers recorded 9 hits, including multi-hit games by Liddi (2x4, R, HR,
RBI), LF Stefen Romero (2x4, R, 2B) and Poythress (2x4, 2 R, HR, RBI). Thames (1x3, R, HR, 3 RBI) and Triunfel (1x4, R, HR, 3 RBI)
combined to knock in 6 of the teams 8 runs.
OF NOTE: INF Nick Franklin went 0x4 yesterday snapping his hitting streak at 12 games (.463/19x41, 12 R, 3 2B, 3 HR, 12 RBI). He has
hit safely in 17 of 19 games this season, .377 (26x69) with 16 runs scored, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, 14 RBI, 4 stolen bases and 16 walks.
OF Eric Thames has reached base safely in all 27 games he has appeared this season, which leads the PCL. Overall this season he is
batting .343 (36x105) with 21 runs scored, 7 double, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 18 RBI, 2 stolen base and 19 walks. INF Carlos Triunfel has hit

PCL AWARDS: INF Nick Franklin was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week and RHPAndrew Carraway was named the
leagues Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 22-28. Over the last 7 days, Franklin has batted .474 (9x19) with 7 runs scored, 3
doubles, 1home run, 6RBI and 6 walks in 5 games. Franklin ranked 10th in the league with 9 hits over that span, highlighted by a 5-for-5
outing at Las Vegas on April 25 He was the 2nd Rainiers player to record at least 5 hits in a game, while reaching base 6 times reaching
with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 2 RBI and 1 walk. Carraway flirted with a no-hitter in his lone appearance last week on April 26 at Las
Vegas. He held the 51s hitless through 6.1 innings and ended the night surrendering just 2 hits and striking out 5 batters through 7.0
scoreless frames. He has earned a win in each of his last three starts and has compiled a 3.38 ERA through 5 outings this season. This
marks the first time Tacoma has swept the weekly league awards since Abraham Nunez won Player of the Week honors and Masao Kida
won Pitcher of the Week accolades June 13-19, 2005. OF Mike Wilson (June 11-18, 2012) was the last Rainiers player to be named Player
of the Week, and RH Erasmo Ramirez (May 29-June 4, 2012) was the last Tacoma pitcher to be named PCL Pitcher of the Week.

RECAP: The Generals committed 4 errors which led to 4 unearned run as Jackson lost to
Jacksonville 1-11 on Thursday night. Starter Brett Shankin (3.0,9,8,1,1,2,HR) recorded the loss
despite allowing only 1 earned run in 3.0 innings of work. RH Moises Hernanedez (2.2,2,1,1,2,1)
and LH Nick Hill (1.0,3,2,2,1,1) each were charged with runs in relief, while RH Stephen
Kohlscheen (2.1,1,0,0,0,1) tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief. 2B Brad Miller (2x3) recorded the
teams only multi-hit game, while RF Julio Morban (1x4, R, 2B) recorded the teams only extrabase hit.
OF NOTE: RHP Taijuan Walker has allowed only 2 earned runs in his last 5 starts (6 R), lowering

HITTING FOR THE CYCLE: Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) completed the cycle
on April 27 at Chattanooga. It was the first cycle in Jackson franchise history, dating back to 1998,
when the Generals were known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. But it was the 2nd cycle in 10
days for a Mariners prospect after Carlos Triunfel accomplished the feat for Triple-A Tacoma on
April 17. Almonte hit a solo homer in in the third inning, a bases-loaded triple in the 4th inning, and
singled in the 5th and got his 5th RBI of the evening. After being called out on strikes in the 6th
inning, Almonted lined a 2-2 pitch to right field for a double to complete the cycle.
