the monument of imagination provides everyday people with the opportunity to activate their imagination, allowing them to think as they did when they were children, when elephants could y and the grass could be any color you wanted it to be.

This monument would be located in the Shakespeare Garden, in Central Park. Sandwiched near the highly trafficked main pathway between the American Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

A tting place for a monument dedicated to imagination when those two museums also are a source of such wonderment for kids and adults alike.

As we get closer you can see the exact location of the space within the Shakespeare Park in which we have chosen to place our monument.

the monument holds a circled area lled with a ton of accessible legos. surrounding this area, the landscape is open for people to build around and onto. this provides people the ability to use these legos to transform their regular surroundings into whatever they like, whether it be abstract or realistic.
