Eddy Carroll; Beyond Categorical Thinking


Eddy Carroll is a member of the First Unitarian Society of Denver. He has been doing Beyond Categorical Thinking weekends for UU congregations for twelve years. This discourse is intended to help us in our ministerial search process by challenging our preconceived notions and biases about the kind of person were looking for to fill our ministerial position at UUFW. Of course, the benefit of such a discussion goes far beyond the quest for a new minister, and into our individual lives as well. Meditation Group. Mon, May 6. 7:10-7:30 PM. Breaking Bread and Building Bridges Immigration Campaign: Feb 1-May 16.
Breaking Bread and Building Bridges is part of a larger strategy to lift the voices of faith communities at the local level and turn the tide for immigrants rights. Local events such as potlucks, vigils, and detention visitation connect advocates with those most directly affected by unjust immigration policies. The relationships that are nourished serve to build understanding and strengthen dedication for continued work toward just and humane immigration reform

Social Action in Our Community - May 2013


May 4 Jog For Justice The mission of the27project is to awaken nations to the global injustice of modern-day slavery. We hope to bring awareness and provide funding for the prevention and restoration of these lost voices through annual 27K running events held within the United States.
