Question 2. Graph Interpreting ( 12 Marks) Question 2 in section A is all about interpreting graph.

You should know the relationship of the graph, calculate gradient, extrapolated & use the gradient value to solve the question given. 1. State the relationship (refer type of graph note) 2. Extrapolated. You need to show in the graph paper using dotted line from given x-axis or y-axis to the answer. Example : y Y=__ Show in the graph the value of y if the value of X= 5. State the answer with correct unit Total marks =2 or 3 depends on question

x 5 3. The third question is about gradient. The total marks for this question are 3 marks. 1 mark for drawing large triangle (4 x 4 big box) indicate the gradient. A small gradient will void mark. 1 mark for calculating the gradient using formulae 1 mark for stating the answer with correct unit

Note= student seldom loose 1 mark on stating the answer because of wrong unit

4. The forth question is about using the value of gradient to solve question. Student must read carefully the question. It compulsory to use the gradient value. 3 or 4 marks from this questions. 5. The last question is to state the precaution for the experiment. The common precaution that prefer by examiner are : a. Repeat readings and take average b. Eye perpendicular to the scale/reading to avoid parallax error

Paper 3 Answering Technique Bahagian A Question 1 (A) Identify Variable . 1. Identify manipulated variable, responding variable and constant variable 2. This variable can be located at the question please read the question carefully 3. Constant variable is the variable that needed to be constant because it can affect the reading. CV must a be a quantity than=t can be measured. Common mistake student will state type of. Type of cannot be count as CV because it cannot be measured so avoid using it.
