Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra has a NABL accredited Pathology Section and is the first hospital in Kolkata to obtain ISO 9001-2008. It was certified by Bureau Veritas. EEDF (Economic Entrepreneurship Development Foundation) Health Centre was founded in February 1971 by the late Dr. S.C. Dutt, the founder Chairman & Managing Director of the DC group of companies. Dr. Dutt was the first one to introduce treatment under one ceiling in Kolkata, West Bengal. His vision was to provide health care services to the middle & lower middle class sections of society and to the employees of DC group at an affordable rate in a comfortable environment. The Health Centre began by rendering services from 3 rented houses in Jodhpur Park and in a mobile medical van where doctors and nurses were present to take care of the patients. In 1991, it moved to a new building and was named Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra.

Mrs. Shanta Ghosh A renowned Architect and Urban Planner. She has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India and did her Masters in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, specializing in Urban Design. She started her working career in The Kuljian Corporation, USA in 1979 and worked in USA for 10-years. In 1989, she took additional responsibilities in Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in India. In April, 2008 she took over as Chairperson of the Development Consultants Group. She had held various positions in the Group including Vice Chairperson, Managing Director and Director of Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Arun Kumar Guha Joined DCPL after obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, West Bengal, India. Has been with the Company ever since. Has experience of nearly 50 years with specialization in Water Supply/Sanitary Installation and allied work with special emphasis on project management. Currently, also Director of DC Industrial Plant Services Pvt. Ltd., Bengal DCL Housing Development Co. Ltd., KonTest Chemicals Ltd., D.I. Laboriatories Limited, S.C.Dutt & Associates Pvt. Ltd. and PCS Project Construction Services Pvt. Ltd. Formerly, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal DCL Housing Development Co. Ltd. Mr. Rabindra Nath Basu Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, West Bengal, India has a Diploma in Concrete Technology from the University of Leeds, U.K. Has nearly 50 years experience with specialization in development studies for new projects, dock & harbor engineering and water front engineering. Present responsibilities include technology development, control and administration of entire activities of the Civil & Structural Division. Has been involved in development of project concepts, site selection, layout and basic planning for all projects implemented by the Company. Member, Institute of Structural Engineers, UK. SERVICES:

 OPD The Out Patient Department is air-conditioned and consists of medical consultants from over 35 disciplines. The availability of almost 150 doctors from various disciplines is one of the popular features of the OPD. It is open from 8 am-8pm from Monday to Saturday and from 8 am-1:30 pm on Sunday for consultancy with specialists, investigations etc. Additionally, advance booking for consultancy with doctors and investigations is available 30 days in advance. EMERGENCY The emergency facility is open to the public 24 hrs x 7 days. IPD Hospitalization facilities are available round the clock in a centrally air-conditioned environment.
