Volunteering Opportunities University of Worcester Arena Saturday 25th May 2013

England Netball is looking to appoint volunteers to support the delivery of the Netball Superleague Final. If you have a passion for netball, are friendly and enjoying event volunteering then read on for more information.

England Netball is recruiting:

Ball Patrol Confident and friendly with good ball skills (throwing and catching) Priority will be given to those registered on our Pass on Your Passion scheme Between the ages of 14-16 years of age, 4:30pm-8:30pm A Ball Patrol Coordinator is also required to supervise the Ball Patrol Must be over 18 years of age 4pm-9pm Ticket Collection Assistants The role will support front of house at the event, issuing pre ordered tickets, selling tickets to walk up sales, meet and greet spectators and ticket collection. Must be over 16 years of age 5pm-7:15pm Programme Sellers* Comfortable with basic calculations Have a friendly manner and be approachable. Priority will be given to those registered on our Pass on Your Passion scheme Over 16 years of age, 4:30pm-9pm A Programme Seller Coordinator* is also required to supervise the Programme Sellers Must be over 18 years of age 4pm-9pm Media Hostess* Meet and greet with all media and show to media areas, collect information from the match bench to provide to collected media (starting line-ups/stats at end of game) Aged 16+ years old 4:30pm-8:30pm

Mascots* The role requires you to wear one of the England Netball Mascots, to interact and engage with spectators and players, pose for photographs and adopt the personality of the mascot. Volunteers should be aware that the costumes require them to wear a heavy head and get hot inside and those with Claustrophobia would not be suited to this role Must be over 18 years of age 4:30pm-8:30pm

Mascot Assistants* The role will support the England Netball Mascots to perform their duties, interact and engage with players and spectators, support the Mascots to pose for photographs and ensure the comfort and safety of the mascot at all times. Must be over 18 years of age 4:30pm-8:30pm

*please note these roles are active during match time and volunteers may not have the opportunity to watch the whole match
