FROM BLACK NARRATOR (V.O.) So heres what you missed on Glee. Sounds of the microphone being ripped from his hand. An unfamiliar voice takes over. We see clips as they are described. ROBERT (V.O.) When the superstars of New Directions graduated, Mr. Shue had a microchip installed in their brain that forces them to return to Lima every couple of weeks. Santana performs Nutbush City Limits in her college cheer uniform. Puck dances with Kitty at Prom. Finn packs up his office. ROBERT (V.O.) When did he get an office? Speaking of Finn, he and Rachel can hardly look at each other now that theyre broken up. But that hasnt stopped Finn from calling marriage dibs. FINN (ON-SCREEN) (to Brody) Stay away from my future wife. ROBERT (V.O.) Mr. Shuester returned from Washington D.C. an even bigger douche bag than he was before. EMMA (ON-SCREEN) I could really use some help with this seating chart. WILL (ON-SCREEN) Right after Glee Club, I promise. ROBERT (V.O.) I hear that he got dumped at the altar. Serves him right. Marleys dating Jake and is BFFs with Kitty. Which is a shame because Im pretty sure that Kitty is her arch nemesis.

Marley and Kitty sing Some Nights arm in arm. As soon as Marleys back is turned. Kitty drops the smile and rolls her eyes. ROBERT (V.O.) Coach Sue hates Glee Club and is slowly and laboriously plotting its demise. SUE (to Neil Patrick Harris) I have a secret room upstairs like Letterman. ROBERT (V.O.) And thats what you missed on Glee. INT. UNKNOWN Tight on the face behind the voice ROBERT (17). A dirty James Dean. His shoulders tense. Lips pursed. Wherever he is, its miserable for him. ROBERT (V.O.) It wasnt supposed to be like this. It wasnt when I started at McKinley freshman year. God, freshman year. That seems like a lifetime ago. EXT. FOOTBALL FIELD - UNDER THE STANDS - NIGHT - FLASHBACK Fourteen-year-old Robert stands an awkward six inches away from a pretty FANGIRL. Not so pretty that the jocks would want her, but prettier than Robert should hope for. FANGIRL I like your Dexter T-shirt. ROBERT You can have it if you want it. She smiles. Stares into his eyes. This is the moment. Roberts sweating bullets, but hes not chicken. As he leans in for the kiss, Michael Jacksons Thriller echoes out over the stadiums speakers. FANGIRL Oh my god, I love this song. The music pulls her away from his reach.

INT. UNKNOWN - PRESENT DAY Back on Roberts miserable face. Something off screen pressing him on both sides. ROBERT (V.O.) That was the first New Directions performance I ever saw. It was good. Good enough to miss your first kiss ever? Jenny Songer thought so. Pull out to reveal Robert in a crowd of students. Indiscernible rap music plays. ROBERT (V.O.) I didnt fault them. At first. I mean who doesnt like Thriller? Or even a little Journey once in a while. The pull out continues. Were in the hallway of McKinley. ROBERT (V.O.) And thats the key right there. Once in a while. Finally the full picture is revealed. Robert is trapped in a dance circle. Artie at its center singing Teach Me How to Dougie as different Glee Club members take their turn throwing down in the spotlight. ARTIE The name is Young. For the dudes who dont know me. I know Im from the West but I can teach you how to Dougie. The pain on Roberts face makes you think someones yanking out his thumb nails with pliers. He tries pushing his way out and gets thrust into the center of the dance circle. GLEE KIDS Teach me how to Dougie. Teach me how to Dougie. Robert refuses to move, shake, even nod. His entire body stiffens in protest.

ROBERT (V.O.) Were beyond that now. Glee is a contagion spreading through our school like West Nile or Mono. CUT TO: INT. SHUESTERS CLASSROOM - DAY Will sings his lesson a la We Didnt Start the Fire. Robert tries to take notes. ROBERT (V.O.) At first it was contained to the choir room, the auditorium, and Mr. Shues classroom. Then it spread. CUT TO: INT. ENGLISH CLASSROOM - DAY Robert draws a caricature of his TEACHER being decapitated as she hips it up with the rap version of The Tale of Mr. Morton. ENGLISH TEACHER Mr. Morton is the subject of my sentence and what the predicate says, he does. CUT TO: SERIES OF SHOTS A spam attack of Glee performances in various locations. ROBERT (V.O.) To the locker room. To the Library. The nurses office. The cafeteria. The computer lab. The stairwells. The courtyard. The natatorium. We didnt even have a natatorium before Glee. Some a-hole built it just so those bastards could sing in it while synchronized swimming. Do you know what it feels like to be subject to random acts of synchronized swimming? Do you? Robert experiences said subjection. He is a man on the edge. CUT TO:

INT. BATHROOM - DAY Robert whizzes at the urinal. He is flanked on both sides by Sam and Blaine, who take this opportunity to practice a duet from Into the Woods. SAM/BLAINE and frequently humming a light hearted air: ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah Agony! Far more painful than yours... CUT TO: EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY The school day over, Robert walks to his car. ROBERT (V.O.) I just need to get out of here. Robert clicks the remote to his car. Lights flash on a white Honda Civic. The same white Honda Civic that Marley is climbing on top of. Robert has wondered into another music video in progress. Marley sings Machine Gun to Jake. A lovers spat. MARLEY I dont mean harm, oh, but baby youd be charming if youd come undone. Get back where you started from. Marley continues through the chorus as Robert retreats back into the building. INT. HALLWAY - DAY Robert finds some peace and quiet in the emptiness. He closes his eyes and relishes it. As Robert stands there, we speed through the next few days like a photograph captured with the shutter open for hours. Dancers parade through in a blurry haze. Music from multiple songs bleed into one noise. From the buzzing, the cheery piano tune I Think Im Going to Kill Myself picks up. Robert sings without an audience. ROBERT Im getting bored being part of mankind. Theres not a lot to do no more. This race is a waste of time.

The blur ends. Time catches up to him. Robert goes about his normal business. Locker visit. Walking to class. ROBERT (CONTD) I think Im gonna kill myself. Cause a little suicide. Stick around for a couple of days. What a scandal if I died. As he finishes the chorus, Robert catches the attention of a cluster of students. We will refer to them as the TRIO OF HATERS. Theyre each wearing a set of over-sized head phones. A hint of death behind their eyes. INT. HALLWAY - LATER Robert walks to class. Three hands reach out of a doorway as he passes and drag him in. INT. SUES SECRET LAYER - DAY Formerly known as the Vice Principles office. Redecorated in a theme inspired by Tonya Hardings 1986 Olympic costume. Theres a sign Song Free Zone and a fully functioning slushy machine. Robert sits before the Trio of Haters. ROBERT What do you want? HATER JANE Were concerned. HATER DAN We over heard you in the hall. HATER JACK Beautiful singing voice. HATER JANE Did you mean it? Do you really want to kill yourself? ROBERT No. I was practicing for a musical. Can I go now? HATER DAN You want to escape the one room on campus thats Glee-free, be my guest. Robert keeps his seat.

ROBERT Howd you guys find out about this place? HATER JANE Thats not important. HATER JACK I deliver the slushy mix. Want one? ROBERT No. HATER DAN Maybe you should sit down with a professional or Miss Pillsbury. Maybe she could fix you. ROBERT Im not the one that needs to be fixed. HATER JANE So suicides what? Your escape hatch? ROBERT Something like that. HATER JANE And what about the rest of us? ROBERT What about you? HATER JACK We have ears too. ROBERT So. HATER DAN So you can take the selfish, cowards way out, or you could go down a hero. Roberts confused. HATER JANE What Jack means is, killing yourself wont solve anyones problems. Killing the Glee Club, on the other hand-

ROBERT I cant kill the Glee Club. HATER JACK Why not? Robert searches for an answer. INT. HALLWAY - DAY Robert leaves Sues secret lair looking perplexed. Meanwhile, Jake passes by and gets a peak inside. He notices the slushy machine. Its as if hes found the holy grail. Jake runs down the hall to Sam and Ryder. JAKE Hey. INT. CAFETERIA - DAY Robert eats alone. Hes reading Silence of the Lambs. ROBERT (V.O.) Why cant there be more people like Hannibal Lecter out there? I feel like he would know what to do. On the one hand, Im pretty sure my parents would kill me for murdering the Glee Club. On the other handRoberts train of thought is interrupted as the Glee Club bursts in singing Were Not Gonna Take It. They shout out the anthem with passion. An army of Troubadours in rebellion. SAM/RYDER Weve got the right to choose and there aint no way well loose it. This is our life. This is our song. Well fight the powers that be. Just dont pick our destiny. Cause you dont know us. You dont belong. They break into the chorus. Sam climbs on the table where Robert is seated, accidently stepping on Roberts chicken sandwich in his jubilee. Its a step too far for Robert. Robert yanks the tray out from under Sams foot. Sam falls on the table. Hard. Silence. All eyes on Robert. He picks up his books and walks out.

Sam yelps in pain. His friends rush to his aid. INT. CHOIR ROOM - DAY Kitty, Jake, Marley, Ryder and Unique are gathered around the piano. KITTY Poor Sam. If only he would have fallen forward so that his lips couldve softened the blow. RYDER I cant believe they kicked us out. MARLEY The nurses office is too small for all of us. JAKE Still, its hard not to take Tina barking new kids get out a little personal. UNIQUE I think the take-away lesson here is never to wear heals during an audience participation number. MARLEY No, the lesson was supposed to be us standing up for ourselves. Saying were not going to take the abuse. We let one kid ruin that and send us back to the choir room to hide. JAKE Were not hiding. Were regrouping. RYDER You thinking bout some good oldfashioned revenge? KITTY No, no sweetheart. Revenge is for middle-aged lesbians and the American Broadcasting Company. We need to teach the mother truckers at this school that raising a hand to one of us is the surest way to loose a finger.

UNIQUE One of us? KITTY Not words I use often, but unlike most of you I let me actions speak louder than my words. Ive shown my face on stage with this club enough times to be invested. And I for one think its high time Glee Club stops focusing on the words of our songs and put some thought into how to act them out. RYDER You mean, like, interpretive dance? KITTY I mean doing something about it. MARLEY What can we do? JAKE How about the one thing New Directions has never been able to do? UNIQUE Teach Mr. Shue to straighten his hair? JAKE No. Take over McKinley. KITTY Interesting, but impossible. MARLEY Kittys right. Coach Sylvester would never let that happen. Its like she has some sort of mystical power over this place. JAKE What if I found her power source? RYDER Should we really be discussing this in front of(nods to Kitty)

KITTY Please, if the tale of Quinn Fabray taught me anything its that the only thing Coach Sylvester loves more than breeding a champion is seeing one of her creations crushed in her over-sized man hands. (to Jake) If what you say is true. If you have what you think you have, then all we need is a plan. End Act 1

ACT TWO INT. NURSES OFFICE - DAY Sam has an ice pack on his head. Tina and the New Directions veterans stand vigil at his bedside. BLAINE I still think we should take you to the hospital. There could be permanent brain damage. BRITTANY Quick, whats faster? A zebra or a leprechaun fairy. SAM Leprechaun fairy. Unless theyre box car racing. BRITTANY Hes fine. The new kids barge in. TINA Hey, I thought I told youUNIQUE Were not taking orders from you, honey. JAKE Were taking over this place. You guys in or what? SAM (looses the ice pack) We are so totally in. Pre-lap: Opening beats of Run This Town. INT. HALLWAY The Glee kids come marching out of the nurses office. Getting pumped up. Banging on lockers. Theyre headed to the choir room. UNIQUE Feel it coming in the air. Hear the screams from everywhere.

INT. CHOIR ROOM - CONTINUOUS Kitty passes out the fatigues. UNIQUE Cant be scared when it goes down. Got a problem tell me now. Only thing thats on my mind, whos gone run this town tonight. EXT. COURTYARD - NIGHT The kids dance around trash can bon fires. Its a total rush. ARTIE We are, yeah I said it. We are. This is Glee nation. Pledge your allegiance. INT. SUES HOUSE - NIGHT Kitty, Tina, Marley & Unique sneak in through a window. The house is empty. They tip toe to Sues bedroom. Open the closet and find a treasure trover of jump suits. INT. SUES SECRET LAYER - NIGHT Jake and the boys steal the slushy machine and trash the place. EXT. COURTYARD - NIGHT The gang burns Sues track suits while Artie finishes the first verse. ARTIE Now we square up. Hold up. INT. HALLWAY - DAY The Glee Club shows up to school the next morning armed with big gulps. Its payback time. UNIQUE Lifes a game but its not fair. I break the rules so I dont care. So I keep doing my own thing. Walking tall against the rain. Tina and Sugar hit two FOOTBALL PLAYERS to start things off. More Football Players step up to protect their teammates. Sam, Blaine and Jake take them out with Super Soakers filled with slushy. The Jocks cant take the icy sting. One of them makes a move for Sam but slips in the sludge.

The other Football players fall like dominoes and just like that, they are defeated. UNIQUE (CONTD) Victorys within the mile. Almost there. Dont give up now. A Teacher confronts them. Wait not a teacher, its Sue dressed in civvies and Sue without a track suit is like Sampson without his hair. She doesnt stand a chance. They douse her in frozen ice. Victory is theirs. JAKE We are. Yeah I said it, we are. You can call me Cesar. The show continues with students lining up as willing victims of Glees wrath. Becky comes to the aid of a fallen Sue. Kitty gets her with a purple slushy. Brittany watches this go down with a twinge of guilt. INT. CAFETERIA - CONTINUOUS The club brings its furry to the scene of the crime. Its a complete slaughter. By the time the song finishes there isnt a dry head in the place, save for one. Sam, armed with a double shot, finds Robert as the song comes to an end. SAM Wassup. Sam goes to throw them, but the look on Roberts face gives him pause. Instinct kicks in. Sam retreats, following his friends out. Robert finds the Trio of Haters hiding underneath the table. ROBERT Ill do it. The cool techno rhythm of Pumped up Kicks begins. Robert passes through the destruction. Shoulders tall.

INT. SCHOOL BUS - DAY Robert sits still amidst the chaos of unsupervised teens. The Trio of Haters two rows behind him. TRIO OF HATERS Roberts got a quick hand. Hell look around the room. He wont tell you his plan. EXT. ROBERTS HOUSE - DAY The bus drops Robert off in front of an 80s style track house. INT. ROBERTS HOUSE - BASEMENT Robert pulls the chain on an exposed bulb. TRIO OF HATERS Yeah he found a six shooter gun. In his dads closet with a box of fun things. Theres a gun safe in the corner. Robert finds the key on top. Opens it revealing a stock pile of weapons that could have kept Waco going another fifty days. INT. CHOIR ROOM - DAY The Glee Club celebrates its victory with dancing. Mr. Shue pours the sparkling cider. Theyre all too busy and excited to notice the black wreath hanging on the door. TRIO OF HATERS But hes coming for you. Yeah, hes coming for you. INT. HALLWAY - DAY The Cherios! are lined up handing their lipsticks over to Tina like its their lunch money. TRIO OF HATERS All the other kids with the pumped up kicks. Better run. Better run, out run my gun. Her offerings received, Tina steps away from her locker. Theres a black X on the floor where shes been standing.

INT. MR. SHUES CLASSROOM - DAY Will has a captured audience. The words Manifest Destiny written on the chalkboard. He pulls a quiz out from his podium. Completely unaware that theres a 9mm taped to the underside of said podium. TRIO OF HATERS Better run. Better run. Faster than my bullets. Robert passes by the open doorway. INT. HALLWAY Robert walks towards the auditorium with a half empty duffle bag. The Trio breaks into the menacing whistle of the songs bridge. INT. AUDITORIUM Robert enters from the back. He finds Brittany on stage practicing a dance routine. Alone and unaware. END ACT TWO

ACT THREE INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY Brittanys on her stage doing her thing. Working out a number to Do Somethin. She doesnt want or need an audience. Her steps are kickin Robert watches from the shadows. His bag of guns draped over his shoulder. BRITTANY I see you lookin at me. Like Im some kind of freak. Get up out of our seat. Why dont you do somthing. Brittany does a kick turn and notices her stalker. She kills the music. BRITTANY (CONTD) I cant make my mind up on the Justin Timberlake hip shake. It fits perfectly with the music, but all things considered it feels like cheating. ROBERT Youre a good dancer. BRITTANY I know. She abdicates the stage. BRITTANY (CONTD) Shes all yours. Careful by the left wing though. Theres still some slushy residue. ROBERT I dontBRITTANY Oh, I almost forgot... She pulls a chicken sandwich from her bag and gives it to him. BRITTANY (CONTD) You seemed really upset the other day when Sam flattened yours, so I stole you another one. (MORE)

18. BRITTANY (CONTD) It been in my gym bag for thirtysix hours, so it probably hasnt fully matured. Maybe give it another day so the flavor sets in. Enjoy.

Off Robert, confused but touched. INT. SUES SECRET LAYER - DAY The rooms in shambles. Sue is passed out on the sofa surrounded by empty bottles of NyQuil. The Trio of Haters are huddled around a card table. Theyve set up a phone bank for book making. HATER DAN (on phone) Its two to one Shuester uses Miss Pillsbury as a human shield. If youre looking for a long shot, Id go with Artie running awayROBERT (rushing in) Its off. Im not doing it. HATER DAN Let me call you back. HATER JANE What do you mean youre not doing it? This isnt parking with Noah Puckerman or choosing a college major. You cant just change your mind. ROBERT I can and I am. HATER JACK Im gonna make some counter bets. HATER DAN No youre not. Hes doing it. ROBERT Are you deaf or just stupid? The plans off. HATER JANE Hey, if you dont have the stones-

ROBERT I got nothing but stones. Thats not the reason. HATER JANE What is? ROBERT I dont half ass things. I do a job. I do the whole job and... HATER JANE And? ROBERT And I cant kill Brittany alright? I like her. Its be like shooting Willy Wonka. It makes no sense. I cant take out the Glee Club without taking down the entire Glee Club and I cant take down Brittany. Ergo, no ones getting taken down. Deal with it. He storms out. HATER DAN Were screwed. EXT. ROOF - NIGHT Glee Clubs celebration continues with a roof-top slushy party. Their spirits high. They wear sunglasses at night cause thats how freaking cool they are. BLAINE (cup raised) To victory! Cheers. They drink. ARTIE To the end of Sue Sylvesters rain of terror! More cheers. MARLEY To the new world order! Hell Yeah!

BRITTANY To the death of the Glee Club and all that it stands for. Errt. What theSAM What? BLAINE You cant really mean that. BRITTANY Its true. You guys are turning into everything we hate. You slushied a kid with downs syndrome today and now youre celebrating. Thats not cool. MARLEY She has a point. The slushy storm got a little out of hand. JAKE Are you kidding me? It was awesome and totally unbiased. We hit everyone equally. RYDER It was like the most politically correct assault ever. Cause thats how we roll. ARTIE We didnt do it to be mean. We were making a point. TINA Yeah. ARTIE Today was a historic event. We took the power from those who abused it. Were finally in a position to run this school the way we run Glee Club. We can make McKinley a place where differences are celebrated. Where everyone can be themselves. TINA Amen.

BRITTANY I hear what youre saying but Im still seeing images of all of you with Nazi stashes in my mind. JAKE Woe. Harsh. BRITTANY Come on, Sam. You cant think this is right. (to Unique) And what about you, Mercedes? KITTY Oh my god you stupid bitch, thats not Mercedes. SAM Hey, dont call her stupid. KITTY Mercedes is gone. So is Santana and Rachel and Finn. And if they were here nowTINA Theyd be on our side. BRITTANY Okay, now Im starting to think aliens ate all your brains and turned you into pod people. (to Sam) Dont worry. Well track down Stephanie Myers. Shes know what to do. In the mean time, I think youll be happy to know that I ran into that Robert kid today and apologized to him for you for flattening his processed meat. SAM You apologized to him? BRITTANY Yeah, he was totally cool with it. SAM (pissed) Well Im not. He should be the one apologizing. Dude almost cracked my spine.

BLAINE Sam really could have been hurt, Brittany. Do you even care? MARLEY We may have ruined some peoples clothes today, but we didnt hurt anybody. TINA I dont understand why youre not with us on this. KITTY You wouldnt. Brittanys your friend. Shes a member of this group, but shes also a Cherrio! with beautiful blonde hair and a great set of legs. She doesnt understand how important today was for the disenfranchised. Kitty fills a big gulp. Hands it to Unique. KITTY (CONTD) Brittany, have you ever been slushied? BRITTANY I dont see where youre going with this. The kids arm themselves. They line up around Brittany like a firing squad. BLAINE It doesnt have to be like this. We want you in the group, but if you cant see our way on this one. TINA You need to make a choice, Brittany. BRITTANY You guys know I dont know how to do that. Sam? SAM (in his best George W) Either you are with us or youre with the terrorists. The lines are drawn. Brittany is totally alone.

BRITTANY Youre the terrorist. Wrong answer. In a unified slow-motion event. They unleash frozen hell. Brittany is swallowed in a rainbow of slushy. Covered from head to toe. She backs away from them. Her eyes blinded. She fails to see the roofs edge. Blaine and Jake cry out a warning. They reach for her, but theyre not quick enough. Brittany continues backing up and walks right off the roof. A panic filled beat of silence. Then a loud THUD. END ACT THREE

ACT FOUR INT. FUNERAL HOME - DAY A closed casket. An alter full of flowers and a portrait of Brittany holding Lord Tubbington. Brad plays If I Die Young on a baby grand. Quinn keeps it together long enough to get the words out. Pretty much everyone whos ever been on the show is present. QUINN If I die young bury me in satin. Lay me down in a bed of roses. Sink me in the river at down. Send me away with the words of a love song. INT. RACHEL & KURTS APARTMENT - DAY - FLASHBACK Santana is destroyed after hearing the news. Kurt holds her while she wails. Theres a pain in her tears. An ache that might never heal. Rachel watches over them feeling useless. INT. FUNERAL HOME - DAY - PRESENT DAY Not a dry eye in the place. Puck and Blaine stand behind Quinn providing back up vocals. QUINN The sharp knife of a short life. Well, Ive had just enough time. INT. CHOIR ROOM - DAY - FLASHBACK Will cleans the glass of a framed photo of Brittany. He pounds a nail into the wall. Accidently gets his thumb with the hammer. An outburst of anger. UNIQUE Higher on the right. Celines right. JAKE Has anyone seen Marley? INT. HALLWAY - DAY Marley wanders through the crowd. Oblivious to the red sea parting before her. INT. EMMAS OFFICE - DREAM SEQUENCE MARLEY I was there the night Brittany fell off the roof. Me and the rest of the Glee Club. We saw the wholeEmma blows a police whistle. FOUR UNIFORMED OFFICERS rush in and tackle Marley to the ground. INT. HALLWAY - DAY Marley snaps out of it and finds herself standing before Emmas office. She turns around and walks away very fast. INT. EMMAS OFFICE - DAY Robert sits before Emma twisting a yellow No. 2 inside a manual sharpener. His focus on the pencil. His expression dull. EMMA I know its been a few days, but Id like to talk about the incident in the cafeteria. ROBERT Okay. EMMA Why dont you tell me what happened. ROBERT You dont know? EMMA Pretend I dont. Robert inspects the pencil. Not sharp enough. He resumes the work. ROBERT I guess I lost my temper. I didnt mean to hurt anyone. I just wanted him to see me. Im sorry. INT. AUDITORIUM - EARLIER Shuester addresses the assembled student body. WILL I want to apologize to each of you for the Glee Clubs behavior over the last few weeks. They were wrong to treat you the way they did. You were wrong for the way you treated them before. Its a vicious cycle that needs to end. Glee Club is a family. Even though were hurting over the death of one of our own, we are strong. Because we have each other. See, we were brought together by the power of music. It saved our souls. Gave us hope. He runs from the audience. EXT. MCKINLEY - DAY Robert emerges from the front doors. Desperate to break free from the suffocating sound of Glee. His breath shallows. He runs into an outstretched piece of yellow crime tape. This is where Brittany fell. EXT. MCKINLEY - THE NIGHT BRITTANY DIED - FLASHBACK Robert walks out the front doors with his bag of guns. Hes using the cover of night to retrieve them. He hears a scream. Looks up to the roof as Brittany begins to fall. Brittany lands next to some bushes. Robert races over to help. Brittany is barley alive. He calls 911 on his cell. 911 OPERATOR (V.O.) 911 what is the location of your emergency? ROBERT Im at the high school. Someones hurt. I need help. Brittany tries to speak but nothing comes out. Robert follows her eye line back to the roof. He sees Blaine pulling Sam away from the ledge. By the time Robert looks back at Brittany, shes gone. EXT. MCKINLEY - PRESENT DAY The outrage of that memory builds up inside Robert until hes a pot boiling over. He tramples though the crime tape heading for one of the bushes. His duffle bag hidden behind it. Robert unzips the bag revealing his arsenal. INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY The crowds on its feet. Will and the New Directions bring the number home.

ACT SIX INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY A muted scene. Robert holds the rifle pointed at Will. He squeezes the trigger. A bullet erupts from the barrel of the gun. In slow motion, it travels unobstructed through the audience. Past the first row. On to the stage. Honing in on Wills forehead. Just as it approaches his skin. BLACKOUT Splat. Screams. Gunfire. Panic. INT. AUDITORIUM - LATER The stage is stained with blood. A spotlight hits center stage. Robert steps into it. Blood splatter on his cheek. Music begins. Gnarles Barkleys Crazy. Robert sings to an unseen audience. Its the performance of his life. ROBERT I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind. There was something so special about that place. INT. AUDITORIUM - FLASHBACK Moments after the outburst. Will, Artie, Joe and Mercedes lie dead on stage. The crowd half dispersed. Remaining students flee towards the exits. INT. HALLWAY - FLASHBACK Kitty, Marley and a group of students run for the front door with Robert trailing after. He reloads his weapon. Kitty trips Marley. Roberts on her before she gets up. BANG. Kitty and the others make it to the doors. They push frantically, but its no use. EXT. FRONT DOORS - FLASHBACK The doors are chained from the outside. INT. HALLWAY - FLASHBACK Robert singles out Kitty. Takes her down with two to the chest. He leaves the non-Glee students alone. Turns back to find Ryder kneeling over Marley. BANG. BANG.

INT. AUDITORIUM - PRESENT DAY The spotlight planted firmly. Robert stays in its glow. It limits his dancing range, but he makes it work. ROBERT But it wasnt because I didnt know enough. I just knew too much. Does that make me crazy? INT. CHOIR ROOM - FLASHBACK Jake and Sam brace themselves against the door. INT. HALLWAY - FLASHBACK Robert shoots through the choir room door. Jakes head falls from view. Robert kicks at the door until it cracks open. INT. STAIRWELL - FLASHBACK Alone, Quinn runs down the stairs and straight into Robert. He raises the gun, but Puck jumps in from above, shielding Quinn. Robert pounds them with bullets. They both fall. INT. LIBRARY - FLASHBACK The shelves are shot up. Blaine and Kurt lie dead on the floor. Theyre holding hands. INT. CLASS ROOM - FLASHBACK Robert walks in firing on Sugar. Santana hits him from the side with a globe. She knocks the riffle from his hands. Robert grabs Santana and throws her into a wall. He pulls a pistol from his pocket. Fires. Hits her center mass. INT. AUDITORIUM - PRESENT DAY ROBERT Ha ha ha. Bless your soul. You really think youre in control? He looks out asking his audience. All we can see of them are shadows. INT. HALLWAY - FLASHBACK Finn turns a corner into an empty hallway. A second later, Rachel runs up on the opposite end. Their eyes meet. In that instant they know. Hope and safety lie in each others arms.

As they race towards one another Robert steps in between them and shoots them both. INT. HALLWAY - FLASHBACK Robert drags Mike Changs dead body from the choir room. INT. AUDITORIUM - PRESENT DAY The madness of his actions has taken Robert over. He performs with the theatricality of Buffalo Bill. ROBERT Ever since I was little. Ever since I was little, it looked like fun. And its no coincidence Ive come. And I can die when Im done. The house lights turn on revealing the audience. The Glee Club. Robert has propped their dead bodies in the first three rows. His song is for them, but their slumped heads and cold eyes pay him no homage. Will sits in the front row. Over his left shoulder is Quinn. A tear falls down her face. Shes still alive. ROBERT (CONTD) Maybe Im crazy. Maybe youre crazy. Maybe were crazy. A POLICE SWAT UNIT enters the room from the back. A dozen red dots hit Roberts chest. His song is almost over. He reaches into his back waist ban. Pulls a gun. SWAT takes him out. BLACKOUT EXT. MCKINLEY - DAY SUPER: 3 Months Later. Emma sits on a bench. Lost in her thoughts. Quinn walks up with a bouquet of flowers and takes a seat beside her. A bell rings in the distance, but campus is empty. EMMA Theyre pretty. A glob of dirt from the flower falls onto Emmas lap. Shes too numb to notice. QUINN Todays the day. Im going to do it. EMMA Are you sure? QUINN Yes. Come with me? EMMA No. I cant. QUINN I could wait.
