Have you ever wondered about your Circulatory system? Some people think that a heart is a Valentines heart but you're wrong. It is a very very important organ in your body. Now you're going to learn about your Circulatory system.

Chapter 2: The Working Circulatory System!

Blood circles through the heart, which pumps it to the lungs where it picks up oxygen. Then the heart pumps oxygen-rich blood to the rest of the body. The atriums are separated from the ventricles by doorways called valves. Valves are important because they keep the blood owing forward. The blood comes back to the heart throughout two big veins called vena cava. It ows through the right atrium and it passes through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. From there it is pumped into the pulmonary artery into the lungs. In the lungs, it picks up oxygen and drops off carbon dioxide. Then it comes back to the heart through the pulmonary veins and ows into the left ventricle. It then starts all over.

GLOSSARY Aorta The biggest longest artery in the body.It carries oxygen rich blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the body. Arteries carry fresh blood with oxygen away from the heart to all other parts of the body. Arterial walls have Muceles to push the blood along to when it need to go. Inferior vene cava a large vein that carries oxygen poor blood to the right atrium from the lower half of the body. left ventricle the left lower chamber of the heart. It pumps blood through the aorta valve. right atrium The right chamber of the heart. It revives oxygen poor blood from the body through the inferior vena cava and the superior vena cava. Valves a advice for controling the ow of gas or luiquid through a pipe or tube.

Chapter 3: Blood vessels

The blood vessels form a complicated system of connecting tubes throughout the body. There are three major types of blood vessels. Arteries take blood away from the heart to the body. Veins return blood to the heart. Capillaries are extremely tiny vessels that connect the arteries and the veins.

Chapter 4: Deadly Diases of the Circulatory System

There's many diseases of the Circulatory System you should be careful with but there's two mainly disease that can kill you but it mostly affect people in Africa. Silk cell Amebia is a blood disorder that affect hemoglobin in thr nutrients found in red blood cells that helps you carry oxygen through your body. Lastly, hemoglobin is a disease prevented by blood clotting. It resides oxygen rich blood from the lungs to the pulmonary. Left Ventricle: The left chamber of the heart. It pUmps blood through the aorta valve.
