Commercial Real Estate Legal Administrative Assistant Dont miss an excellent opportunity to work with experienced professionals in challenging

and rewarding legal practice. A large Wilmington law firm is seeking motivated team players and problem solvers to work as a Legal Administrative Assistant to help organize and manage a busy transactional practice. Must have excellent oral & written communication skills; strong proofreading, organizational, computer (including Adobe Acrobat), typing (65 wpm), drafting/writing skills & transcription skills; ability to multi-task and work with multiple overlapping deadlines. Must be a motivated self-starter. Previous administrative experience preferred. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:
Develop computer proficiency with all applications required by the job Type and proofread loan documents, legal descriptions, memoranda, correspondence,

forms and emails


Calendar events and deadlines, make appointments and reservations, update visitors list,

order meeting refreshments


Answer phones, take messages or transfer phone calls, distribute codes for conference

calls
Enter time sheets, prepare invoices and reminder letters, process payments Open and close files, client and administrative filing (both paper and electronically),

check requests for attorney BP and client expenses


Open, stamp, and distribute mail; track Fedex packages Document production; typing from handwritten copies, dictation software, and voice-

mails; compose blacklines comparing two documents; convert WORD to PDF/PDF to WORD documents Send faxes, make copies, scan and import documents into Filesite, send mail by Fedex, Certified Mail, Hand Delivery Search for contact information and other relevant case information in Outlook, Filesite, Legal Key, Elite, and on Internet Transfer and save e-mails and documents into Filesite and send e-mails with multiple attachments using attorney approved signature line Process conflict of interest and file opening forms, request creation of physical files/folders Maintain attorneys filing system, billing book, contacts list, and reject files up-to-date Coordinate contact list/mailings for holiday/special event cards/notices Arrange for Parcels/Metrocolor assistance Assist during real estate closings, especially with edits and copying Create and distribute closing document binders and CDs Draft and send Probate & Property magazine solicitation letters, acceptance letters, publication agreements, author copy letters, complimentary copy letters; maintain prospects chart and accepted articles chart; calendar publication deadlines Assist with overflow work when schedule/workload permits Any other duties as assigned
