1. Introduction

Outdoor activities should use a sunscreen lotion of SPF 15 or above, and should re-apply it frequently.

Where this is not possiblekeep workers away from heat sources or, where this is not possible, insulate the heat sources to minimize heat radiation; remove hot air from the works area by exhaust pipes or other suitable means; and ventilate the works area by using fans or blowers.
