OmiBattery Tach
Engine Speed Measurement Battery Tachometer
The OM4500/13 allows measurement of engine speed of either petrol or diesel vehicles without the need to connect to often inaccessible spark plug leads, or injector pipes. and is supplied as standard with OmiEmissionscenter and OmiGas. This tachometer represents a true revolution in the rpm measurement of automotive vehicles. The optional cigar lighter connection cable allows measurement of the RPM from inside of the vehicle.

Complete Emissions Testing Solution
The OmiEmissioncenter provides vehicle technicians with a complete emissions testing solution. The fully integrated, PC based equipment offers Smoke and Gas testing for both vehicle workshops and MOT Testing Stations. Featuring the very latest OmiGas and OmiSmoke emission testers, operating on Windows XP software. The equipment meets all current VOSA specifications and requirements including the smoke FAS test, Basic Emissions Test (BET) and gas computerised testing programme.

OmiSmoke
Compact Diesel Emission Tester
The OmiSmoke is a compact next generation diesel emissions tester with Category A and B approval for MOT Class 4, 5, 6 and 7 vehicles. A fully-portable handset with prompted test procedures comes as standard. To accurately record test results the handset comes with a fast built-in thermal printer. The OmiSmoke diesel emissions tester meets Category A and B specifications, allowing testing of all MOT Class 4, 5, 6 and 7 vehicles.

Main Features Purpose designed, robust trolley stores all equipment and probes. The PC has a flat screen colour monitor, DVD drive, keyboard, mouse and A4 printer. All software comes factory installed and tested. OmiGas is a compact, futureproof petrol emissions tester. Latest high reliability design reduces downtime by featuring Fast Warm Up and easy maintenance. OmiSmoke is a portable* next generation diesel emissions tester meeting Category A and B requirements. Built in smart battery management and FAS test saves time and money.

Portable
OmiSmoke is a lightweight portable unit with a smart charger/mains power supply and also includes a 12V vehicle battery or cigar lighter power supply.

Handset
The remote handset has a fully prompted testing procedure and built in fast thermal printer.

Warm up
Low mass head means faster warm up, typically 2 minutes at 18C (ambient).

Trolley
The trolley is purpose designed to accommodate PC, printer, OmiGas, OmiSmoke and all related probes. Ruggedly constructed, the unit is easy to manoeuvre and features lockable wheels.

OmiSmoke
The OmiSmoke diesel emissions tester meets Category A and B specifications allowing testing of all MOT Class 4, 5, 6 and 7 vehicles. The unit is lightweight and compact making it easy to move to a vehicle and with an optional handset becomes totally mobile. The smart internal battery management system allows the unit to test and charge at the same time. Low mass head means faster warm up and oil temperature is measured via the OmiGas saving both time and money. GB patent application no. 0319224.2

FAS test
FAS test is included together with the limits for the Reduced Pollution Certificate. Secondary detection triggering for low-emission vehicles also comes as standard.

OmiGas
The OmiGas petrol emissions tester has been designed to meet all current VOSA specifications and requirements including the MOT computerised testing programme. The latest solid-state infra-red technology offers increased reliability, stability, and warm up time is reduced to only 5 minutes. Unit complies to the most stringent OIML R99 Class 0 specification as required by VOSA and also has a dedicated serial interface for a VOSA card reader. A second serial interface allows a connection to an EOBD serial diagnostic device for complete emissions diagnostic checks and to meet possible future VOSA requirements (additional handset required). There is an oil temperature probe for measuring engine temperature and a standard inductive RPM pick up for engine speed measurement. A universal battery RPM pick up OmiBattery Tach (see Over) is available as an optional extra.

Self test
The unit performs a self test on each use and will perform linearity tests weekly or on demand. OmiSmoke also features easy cleaning of optics for quick maintenance and minimum downtime.
