MAURO GUBBIOTTI Nasce a Sassoferrato (AN) il 18.11.1981.

Intraprende lo studio del piano allet di 8 anni e a soli 13 anni vince il concorso nazionale Pietro Squartini di Perugia con il massimo dei voti nella categoria solisti. Segue gli studi classici diplomandosi brillantemente in pianoforte nel 2003 al Conservatorio G.Rossini di Pesaro sotto la guida del MMaria Picciafuoco. Si perfeziona negli anni successivi, studiando improvvisazione con R.Ciammarughi e frequentando workshops con jazzisti di fama mondiale quali A.Goldberg, B.Brookmeyer, A.Inserto, G.Burk, A.Ortiz, C.Potter ,F. DAndrea, A.Tavolazzi, E.Bandini, U.Fiorentino, e molti altri. Si esibisce regolarmente in varie formazioni tra cui la swing band Mark Zitti e i Fratelli Coltelli, nel Mauro Gubbiotti trio (in cui propone brani di propria composizione), nel quartetto Out of the blues, ensemble nel quale suona lorgano Hammond, e in molte altre band jazz, funk e tribute-band. Si esibito in importanti rassegne quali Tuscia Jazz, Tam factory, Jazz di Marca, Tutto in gioco, San Severino Blues, e allestero a Parigi, Bordeaux , Poitiers, Nova Gorica e negli Emirati Arabi Uniti a Dubai (International Boat Show 2012,Hilton Hotel,Armani Hotel,Meydan Beach) ed Abu Dhabi (Viceroy Hotel in occasione del GP di Formula 1 2012, St.Regis Resort). Ha diviso il palco con importanti artisti quali Cesareo (Elio e le storie tese), Michele Pecora, Christian Ginepro, Giulia Ottonello, Valerio Scanu, Joy Salinas, Loretta Grace, Christian Capiozzo, Giorgio Bartoloni, Stefano Serafini, Marcello Sutera e molti altri. Numerose inoltre le sue collaborazioni in campo teatrale:e pianista per la Compagnia Step in Criminal records e per Ortomagico musical in Blues Mama club e Tutti su per terra,direzione musicale di G.M. Lori. Dal 2009 collabora stabilmente con la Compagnia della Rancia come prima tastiera nellorchestra del musical Cats, in tour per 2 anni in numerosi teatri italiani tra cui Teatro Sistina di Roma e Arena di Verona; con la stessa compagnia nel cast dei musical Happy days (assistente direzione musicale e tastierista), e Grease (pianista accompagnatore). E stato direttore della corale polifonica Amadeus citt di Porto Recanati, animando la Santa Messa di Ferragosto 2012 in diretta su rai1. Dal 2013 dirige la Corale Polifonica Santa Lucia citt di Jesi.

Mauro Gubbiotti was born in Sassoferrato (AN) in 1981. He has been studying piano since he was 8. At the age of 13 he won, with honours, the solo category of the Pietro Squartini national contest. He studied piano under the guidance of Mrs. Maria Picciafuoco at G.Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro and graduated with distinction. He is currently attending courses in improvisation and jazz music. In recent years he has also attended workshops with a wide range of musicians and composers such as A. Goldberg, B. Brookmeyer, A. Inserto, R. Ciammarughi, G. Burk, A. Ortiz, A. Tavolazzi, E. Bandini, U. Fiorentino, and C. Potter. He has collaborated with two theatre companies: performing a recital of Criminal records with Compagnia Step and musicals Blues Mama Club and Tutti su per Terra with Ortomagico Musical. The shows were directed by Cristian Ginepro and the music by Giovanni Maria Lori. Since 2009 Mauro has been collaborating with Compagnia della Rancia. He was the1st keyboard player in the orchestra performing Andrew Lloyd Webbers Cats a production that has now been touring Italy for 2 years, including performances at Teatro Sistina in Rome and the Arena in Verona. For the same company, he was the Assistant Musical Director and keyboard player for their production of the musical Happy Days, directed by Saverio Marconi. He performs with various jazz groups, in particular in trio with L. Carmenati on double bass and M. Cimarra on drums, and in quartet with S. Garofoli on trumpet. These groups often perform original works composed by Mauro himself. He is currently the pianist in the Mark Zitti e i Fratelli Coltelli Swing Band, with which he has performed at lots of international music festivals / events such as Tutto in gioco , San Severino Blues, Tam factory and the Dubai International Boat Show 2012. He is the keyboard player for the Uomini Col borsello (Elio e le storie tese tribute- band), on occasion being joined by the original bands guitarist, Cesareo. He has also recently collaborated with Havona funky fusion band, playing in the most renowned jazz clubs in Paris, Bordeaux and Poitiers. He is a qualified Yamaha and Rusticucci method teacher, teaching piano and keyboard at the following musical institutes: the municipal school in Porto Recanati; the Pop Rock Academy in Osimo; and Arturo

Toscanini in Camerano, a secondary school specialising in music. He is also director of the "Amadeus" choir of Porto Recanati.
