Bad Management
idea posted by Ujwal Chana Project Lead, Polaris Software What I feel is that, the prime reason for the failure of the construction project is bad 23 management. Poor management can shoot up the cost be it material or labour and the contractor has to bear the additional charges. This is what I feel is the prime reason for the failure of any construction project. 0

I am not sure are we going to find scapegoat "Management " or try finding a root cause? my perception each company gets panicky when you speak about good configured internal control system thru a Good COnstruction ERP. Its not the management its people working in projects gets scared of loosing there"know All " supremacy attitude. I have a lot eterprenure and Owner who leaves to senior management for ERP implementation and finaly the to go forward with ERP or Configuring by so called Generals leads to failure of internal control system

Management is always under constraint of money they have to be cautious but the their timely decision can be influenced by proper risk identification and mitigation processes. I have a failed project has been revived by team of "Management" and supervisors of the same project just by following a simple sytem of alerts on the impeding issues ( outstanding, quality and cost of not taking decision. According to me lack of a good congiured system ocnfigured system everybody follows the system no tweaking by management will!!

A soldier is not better than his General ! If the top management is not good, then we can not expect the junior or middle management and team members to perform and get great results.
