1.0 Welcoming Speech The Chairlady welcomed all committee members at this meeting. 2.0 Confirmation of minutes of last meeting Confirmed by: Cg. Shaheen Seconded by: Cg. Amrit 3.0 Matters Arising 3.1 With reference to 4.3, Cg Abdullah informed that the activity of Story Telling Competition cannot be implemented this year due to HFMD problems. He suggested that activities are postponed and implemented in 2013.

3.2 All committee members agreed that the activities continued are Spelling Bee Competition which is on the17th October for Level 1 and Level 2 on the 10th October 2012. Grammar Quiz will be held on the 15th October 2012.

3.3 Chairlady made a correction on item 4.4.5 that only KSSR Class, Year 1 and 2 need to provide one test paper for exam.

3.4 Changes made by chairlady on item 5.4 which is headcount for Year 3,5 and 6 will be using 2nd term test of 2011. Hand in the headcount before school holidays to the English panel. 4.0 Topics of discussion 4.1 SNS The Chairlady informed that the SNS CD available and teachers can get it from PK1.

Action: All teachers 4 .2 SAPS Only the final test results will be key in the SAPS.

Action: All teachers 4.3 Preparation of English Test Papers Teachers who provide the question papers have to make sure that all the subject teachers check the draft before it hand in to PK1.

Action: All teachers 4.4 School Based Oral Assessment (SBOA) There will be no assessment for the KSSR classes (Year 1 and 2).

Action: Year 1 and 2 teachers 4.5 MaCS Gemilang for Year 4 & 5 Explanation of MaCS Gemilang was given by Cg. Hamimah. Year 3, 4 and 5 teachers need to analyze the coming final exam.

Action: Years 3, 4 and 5 teachers

4.6 Planning of Teaching for 2013 Cg. Abdullah requests the administrators to consider that he can teach other class besides Year 1. He also hope that the administrator give an opportunity to other

teachers to teach different classes.

Action: PK 1 4.7 LINUS for 2013 Starting from 2013, LINUS program will be expanded to the English subject.

Action: Year 1 teachers 4.8 Selection of Workbooks for 2013 PK 1 informs all teachers to make the right choice of workbook for 2013.

Action: All teachers 5.0 Other Matters 5.1 Attach the sample answers with the question papers before hand in to PK1. 5.2 Teachers are encourage to create a fun learning environment, emphasizing various aspects such as reading and writing. 5.3 Check on pupils work and stress on their handwriting too.
