Robust Elegance
The AS365 N3+ is part of the Dauphin family, which is well known for its unique design: It is the most elegant medium helicopter around, and capable of performing any kind of mission, anywhere in the world. The AS365 N3+ excels by its capability to perform missions in the most severe climatic conditions at high altitudes or temperatures, and by its large power margin that allows for rooftop landings and takeoffs in urban areas in complete safety. It also features excellent forward visibility during the approach. The AS365 N3+ is powered by two Turbomeca Arriel 2C turbine engines fitted with a Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) system. The engines provide a maximum 30-second emergency power of 961 shp for even more safety. It can take off from the ground effect at maximum weight and up to +50C; it is also capable of taking off with a full load from sea level in Category A conditions. And last but not least, its external noise level is approximately 3.1 EPN decibels below the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, making it the quietest helicopter in its category.

Cost-Effective Training
Eurocopter Training Services (ETS) facilities in France is now equipped with an avionic trainer. In addition, a flight training device (FTD) will be available in Angouleme as of 2011. These new training options mean improved pilot and technician skills and confidence, which in turn translates into decreased pilot and maintenance training costs.
Customer Service Centers in Europe, Asia and the USA offering aroundthe-clock worldwide customer assistance, seven days a week, 365 days a year A world of services to meet customers needs in terms of technical support, component repair and overhaul services, parts and spares support, technical publications and trainingat our facilities, or yours.
Technologies
Technical advancements developed by Eurocopter on the AS365 N3+ include a modular design of the mechanical assemblies, use of composite materials (i.e. Starflex rotor head, blades, airframe, etc.) and use of the latest generation of avionics. The AS365 N3+ also incorporates cutting-edge technologies and the all-composite Fenestron tail rotor which features higher maneuverability, low external noise, and optimal safety for passengers and ground personnel.
Composite material blades Maximum safety Reduced noise signature (3.1 dB below ICAO level) Improved damage tolerance Increased service life limit Reduced maintenance
FADEC System
Electronic engine control that enhances safety and reduces pilot workload.
Starflex Fiberglass Rotor Head Excellent maneuverability Great stability Very low noise and vibration levels Rotor engagement in winds of up to 55 kts (head on) Easy to adjust
Characteristics
Top-Notch Performance
