========= Before we get to OOBE, I'm going to talk a little bit about entering sleep paral ysis.

That's way harder thing than having an OOBE itself. First of all, it is ve ry unlikely to end up having a conscious sleep paralysis at night, when you go t o sleep. Just to make it clear, as we fall asleep, we do enter the sleep paralys is state, but normally our mind falls asleep before it happens. The easiest meth od to achieve sleep paralysis is get out of bed very early in the morning and re main awake for a while, and then return to sleep. I found that it is most effect ive to combine 4 h of sleep and one hour of being awake. When awaken, you should not remain in bed. Try to keep your mind busy; it's good to read a newspaper or watch tv. Even better idea would be to read your Astral Projection journal (giv en you have one), or read an article about OOBE (to communicate with the subcons cious mind). When you return to bed, try to fall asleep as you normally do. It w ill take some time to start feeling sleepy again. If you did everything as descr ibed, you shoud have about 85% chance of staying aware of the whole process when your body falls into a sleep paralysis. It might take from fifteen minutes to o ne h; make sure you are patient and try to remain still. When you notice loud no ises inside of your head and vibrations in your your body, it means that you pro bably are in a sleep paralysis. This is the moment you should try one of OOBE me thods. Probably you have heard many techniques so far. Most of them would work when use d in sleep paralysis. The method that I believe is the best is to imagine any mo vement of your body. Sometimes I imagine myself running very fast. This makes me feel this bizarre pressure inside of my body, which makes the vibrations strong er and ultimately results in Astral Projection. You should try many different te chniques yourself to discover what method works better for you. In fact, any vis ualization of the physical movement will work. Just make sure youJust remember t o stay calm and have fun with this wonderful experience. -----However sleep paralysis is a very useful tool. It makes the whole scenario of ge tting out so much easier as you are basically already out. Your post says this. The older you are the less chance there is of SP, above 50 its almost unheard of . So Ive no chance of trying this lol. We all have our best way to exit and each is somewhat different. The goal is get ting out repeatedly. You have a good suggestion above and anyone trying it can change it to suit them selves, it may work faster this way. Before you lay down spin on your axis get your self nice and disoriented then immediately lay down. This will confuse your equi librium and generate vertigo. =======
