UNIQUE SDHI FUNGICIDE The new active ingredient in Luna Experience fluopyram is not a carboxamide. Fluopyram shares the same SDHI mode of action with boscalid, fluxapyroxad and penthiopyrad but fluopyram behaves very differently. It is uniquely in the pyramide chemical group (pyridyl-ethyl-benzamide) and differs in shape and in molecular flexibility from other FRAC Group 7 fungicides. Boscalid-resistant isolates are still controlled by fluopyram/Luna. Bayer CropScience recommends Luna Experience not be rotated with other Group 3 (DMI) or Group 7 (SDHI) products.
