EMPLOYMENT HISTORY January-2011 till date: HCL Technologies, Noida Position: Senior Software Engineer Project: VRS Japan - EMI Music The primary purpose of VRS is the royalty processing i.e. to gather and process data on world-wide sales of EMI products to calculate royalties and produce artist royalty statements. The VRS system is used to report out to artists and provides their earnings statements. It is also used to calculate the earnings due to other repertoire owners (e.g. the money the UK owes France). This data is sent to CRC. In some territories VRS is used to interface earnings information back to the finance system in order to allow payment. VRS calculates royalties due on domestic, third party and MEA (inter-company) sales.
