RE: INTERNATIONAL GCE EXAMINATIONS: May/June 2012 Congratulations! Hope you have done well in your examinations. Those of you who have not this time, we hope you to do better in the next examinations. Please note that the results of the examination are final and binding on all candidates and Edexcel International will not, except at its absolute discretion, enter into correspondence about the results with candidates or their parents or guardians. However, Edexcel International is offering the following Enquiry about Results (EAR)services on payment: Services Level Fee in Tk.

Fees can be paid ONLY BY CASH at British Council Examinations Services Counter. Service 1 Clerical Check Service 2 Remark Service 3 Access to Script Service 4 Service 2 + Service 3 Int. GCSE , AS /A2 Level Int. GCSE, AS /A2 Level Int. GCSE AS / A2 Level Int. GCSE AS / A2 - Level Tk. 2500.00- (per paper / unit) Tk. 6100.00- (per paper / unit) Tk. 2500.00- (per paper / unit) Tk. 8600.00- (per paper / unit)

You can collect the Post Results Consent Form from the British Council Offices in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. You need to fill out one Post Results Consent Form (both sides) for each subject/paper/unit you will apply and submit it to the Exams Services Counter of your nearest British Council offices. Please present your original Statement of Entry or the results sheet while submitting the form. Please note that the rules now allow for subject grades/unit marks in all these qualifications to be lowered, in addition to being confirmed or raised. If reassessment leads to the award being revised upward, only the board fee (but not the local fee) will be refunded to the candidates bank accounts. The closing date to submit your fee and the form is Thursday 13 September , 2012. We regret that no payment or requests will be accepted after the above-mentioned closing date for the respective qualifications. A quick overview of EAR (Service 1 & 2) and ATS services for May/June 2012 session:

Service Type 1: Clerical Re-Check


This service constitutes a re-check of all clerical procedures that lead to the issue of a result. This service includes the following checks: the recording of marks the application of any adjustments Candidates grades or uniform mark score (UMS) can go up or down.

Service Type 2: post results review of marking of externally assessed components


This service will include: the clerical re-check detailed in Service 1 the re-assessment of units/components by a senior examiner Candidates grades or uniform mark score (UMS) can go up or down. Note: If ATS is requested simultaneously with an EAR Service 2, this will potentially delay either or both services.

Service type 3: Access to Scripts (ATS)


The ATS service is available for all GCE (AS/A2/O Level) qualifications. Once the ATS request has been made for any paper / unit, no other services (Service-1 or 2) can be made for that particular paper / unit later. Candidates grades or uniform mark score (UMS) can go up or down.

Service type 4: (Service type 2 & Service type 3)


Candidates grades or uniform mark score (UMS) can go up or down.

Note: Appeal service is applicable only for students opted for services 2 or 4.

Edexcel aim to complete the enquiry within 30 days of acknowledging the request. But the number of days may be lower or higher as it is depends on the number of requests processed each day.
