Jesus Appears to His Disciples

On the evening of that rst day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of

the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you! 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

21 Again Jesus said, Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. 22 And with that he breathed

on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyones sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.

24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So

the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord!

But he said to them, Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my nger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked,

Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you! 27 Then he said to Thomas, Put your nger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.
28 Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God!

29 Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet

have believed.

Thanks for all those who have helped us to make this Holy week very devotional and fruitful especially the Liturgical team, Choir, Kaikarans, Food coordinators and our beloved Bishop and Priests. Fr Tom who has given us a powerful message today, Fr George Peter who was with us these days to hear confession and our rev Sisters helped to arrange adoration. And Those who have volunteered to bring Thamukku nercha and Appavum Palaum for peshaha. So also the English service was also went on very well. Our youth team worked very hard to arrange everything properly. Next Sunday April 7th is Puthu Njayar (New Sunday). It is the day we traditionally remember St Thomas the Apostle who witnessed Jesus Resurrection by touching his wounds. A pilgrimage has been arranged from May 23rd to May 26th,to Washington D.C. We will visit the shrine of Veilankani Matha as well as visit the rest of the capital city of America.Please contact the parish trustees (kaikarans) if you areinterested in taking part in this pilgrimage. A pilgrimage named Foot Steps of St Paul has been arranged in next September. In this pilgrimage we will visit places in Greece Turkey, Corinth, Thessalonica and related places of St Pauls Missionary Journey. Ephesus, where Blessed Virgin Mary lived with John the Apostle would be a Highlight of this trip. For further information please contact Kaikarans. This year our Church Picnic will be on Aug, 03, 2013. Next Sunday April 7th we celebrate as the day of Divine mercy. We will say the Divine Mercy Chaplet after every Mass. In month of June we will have Fifth family renewal Convention which will be lead by Fr Xavier Khan Vattayil and team. Youth sessions will be lead by Fr George Kumblumootil and Team. Con rmation students and parents will have one day retreat on Saturday April 20th. There will be a one day retreat by Sehion team on Saturday 27th April. The Ra e ticket run by Womens forum will be drawing Saturday . Parish Council will meet on Wednesday 3rd April in the conference hall at 7.00p

Obituary Member of Parish Paulose Moolan has been passed away on 25th March. Funeral will be held in Mala on April 1st Monday. We pray for the grieving family.
