PATHPORT TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Pathport (patent pending) is a rigidly constructed transport system specifically designed to carry most pathology specimens. It is equipped with a custom-fit, disposable formaldehyde-neutralizing pad and a specially designed seal to lock in harmful vapors. Safe Pathport allows the transport of pathology specimens in full compliance with O.S.H.A. bloodborne and hazard communication standards. Secure Pathport has locking capability, which allow usage for medico-legal cases and medical examiner field investigations. Effective Pathport disposable pads effectively absorb and neutralize a 500cc 10% formalin spill. Passive monitoring of a sealed Pathport Transport System unit detected virtually no escape of formaldehyde vapors, even after eight hours. Spill clean-up can be accomplished by simply replacing the pad. Economical Pathport eliminates costly annual exposure monitoring and hazard communications training for transport personnel.
