_____/_____ (25 points) OBJECTIVE: Solving the problem as a photographer
O O Create a photographic diptych, (two images presented next to one another), of two prints that present
yourself in two contrasting ways; 1) how you think other people see you, and 2) how you see the world.
O O One photo shows your physical self, but not necessarily your face.
O O You have somehow demonstrated use of a theme of photographic self-portraiture (transformation,
substitution, role-playing, etc.) in at least one print.
O O You have selected high-quality negatives to make these prints.

1) Briefly explain what you are trying to express or communicate about yourself through your self-portrait diptych. What
concepts or ideas are you using?
2) Explain the compositional decisions you made to connect both works together to form a diptych.
3) Did you enjoy creating self-portraits by creating a diptych of two different aspects of yourself? Why or why not?
