Core responsibilities included management of the entire program and customized the General Liability, Commercial Auto Liability, Workers Compensation and Managed Care programs to client instructions. Responsibilities include multi-unit operational management, expansion of product offerings, maintenance of client specific handling instructions, broker relationship and negotiating policy and financial reconciliation, contract renewals, vendor management program, and updating all aspects of the program to increase operational efficiencies driving an increase in claims handling performance. FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP 1997 2000 COMMERCIAL TEAM LEADER, WORKERS COMPENSATION (1998 2000) Supervised the adjustment and administration of Workers compensation claims within assigned territory. Review ed and evaluated performance of assigned claims examiners. Provided administrative and technical training and overall development of assigned personnel. Managed vendors and negotiated settlements resulting from aviation, cargo, and general liability claims. Consulted on private sector commercial risk management issues which included general contractor liability and product liability. Provided claims and risk management services for several self-insured entities. Additional responsibilities included client development, litigation management and public relations.
