Reasons for Admission

Father deserted mother about three years ago. Irene and children went to California to watch house for
relative. On returning to MA they lived with an aunt. The uncle thought it was too much for his wife to
handle and said that Irene and the children had to leave. Irene can’t make a house for the children to live
in, since she doesn’t make enough money to afford it. The Children’s Friends Society brought the
children to stay there until an arrangement can be made for the children to live elsewhere. The children
are to be placed in a boarding home until Irene’s youngest sister is married, where she expect to take in
the family to live with her.
