And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved on the face of the waters.

3 Vaiyomer Elohim yehi ovr; vayhi-ovr.

Y dijo Elohim: Sea la luz: y fu la luz. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim divided the light from the darkness.

4 Vaiyar Elohim et-ha'ovr ki-tovv; vaiyavdel Elohim, bein ha'ovr uvein hachoshech.
Y vi Elohim que la luz era buena: y apart Elohim la luz de las tinieblas. And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

5 Vaiyikra Elohim la'ovr yovm, velachoshech kara layelah; vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm echad. f

6 Vaiyomer Elohim yehi rakia' betovch hammayim; vihi mavdil, bein mayim lamayim.
Y dijo Elohim: Haya expansin en medio de las aguas, y separe las aguas de las aguas. And Elohim made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

7 Vaiya'as Elohim et-harakia' vaiyavdel bein hammayim asher mittachat larakia', uvein hammayim, asher me'al larakia'; vayhi-chen. E hizo Elohim la expansin, y apart las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansin, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansin: y fu as.
And Elohim called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

8 Vaiyikra Elohim larakia' shamayim; vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm sheni. F

Y llam Elohim la expansin Cielos: y fu la tarde y la maana el da segundo. The Third Day: Dry Ground And Elohim said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

9 Vaiyomer Elohim yikkavu hammayim mittachat hashamayim el-makovm echad, vetera'eh haiyabbashah; vayhi-chen. Y dijo Dios: Jntense las aguas que estn debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y descbrase la seca: y fu as.
And Elohim called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and Elohim saw that it was good.

10 Vaiyikra Elohim laiyabbashah eretz, ulemikveh hammayim kara yammim; vaiyar Elohim ki-tovv.
Y llam Elohim la seca Tierra, y la reunin de las aguas llam Mares: y vi Elohim que era bueno. And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth: and it was so.

11 Vaiyomer Elohim tadshe ha'aretz deshe, esev mazria' zera, etz peri oseh peri leminov, asher zar'ov-vov al-ha'aretz; vayhi-chen. Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra hierba verde, hierba que d simiente; rbol de fruto que d fruto segn su gnero, que su simiente est en l, sobre la tierra: y fu as.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

12 Vattovtze ha'aretz deshe esev mazria' zera leminehu, ve'etz oseh-peri asher zar'ov-vov leminehu; vaiyar Elohim ki-tovv.
Y produjo la tierra hierba verde, hierba que da simiente segn su naturaleza, y rbol que da fruto, cuya simiente est en l, segn su gnero: y vi Elohim que era bueno. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

13 Vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm shelishi. f

Y fu la tarde y la maana el da tercero. The Fourth Day: Sun, Moon, Stars And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

14 Vaiyomer Elohim yehi me'orot birkia' hashamayim, lehavdil bein haiyovm uvein hallayelah; vehaiu le'otot ulemov'adim, uleyamim veshanim. Y dijo Elohim: Sean lumbreras en la expansin de los cielos para apartar el da y la noche: y sean por seales, y para las estaciones, y para das y aos;
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light on the earth: and it was so.

15 Vehaiu lim'ovrot birkia' hashamayim, leha'ir al-ha'aretz; vayhi-chen.

Y sean por lumbreras en la expansin de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra: y fue as. And Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

16 Vaiya'as Elohim, et-shenei hamme'orot haggedolim; et-hamma'ovr haggadol lememshelet haiyovm, ve'et-hamma'ovr hakkaton lememshelet hallaylah, ve'et hakkovchavim. E hizo Elohim las dos grandes lumbreras; la lumbrera mayor para que seorease en el da, y la lumbrera menor para que
seorease en la noche: hizo tambin las estrellas. And Elohim set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light on the earth,

17 Vaiyitten otam Elohim birkia' hashamayim; leha'ir al-ha'aretz.

Y psolas Elohim en la expansin de los cielos, para alumbrar sobre la tierra, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Elohim saw that it was good.

18 Velimshol baiyovm uvallaylah, ulahavdil, bein ha'ovr uvein hachoshech; vaiyar Elohim ki-tovv.
Y para seorear en el da y en la noche, y para apartar la luz y las tinieblas: y vi Elohim que era bueno. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

19 Vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm revi'i. f

Y fu la tarde y la maana el da cuarto. The Fifth Day: Fish and Birds And Elohim said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

20 Vaiyomer Elohim, yishretzu hammayim, sheretz nefesh chaiyah; ve'ovf ye'ovfef al-ha'aretz, al-penei rekia' hashamayim.
Y dijo Dios: Produzcan las aguas reptil de nima viviente, y aves que vuelen sobre la tierra, en la abierta expansin de los cielos.
And Elohim created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

21 Vaiyivra Elohim, et-hattanninim haggedolim; ve'et kol-nefesh hachaiyah haromeset asher sharetzu hammayim leminehem ve'et kol-ovf kanaf leminehu, vaiyar Elohim ki-tovv. Y cri Elohim las grandes ballenas, y toda cosa viva que anda arrastrando, que las aguas produjeron segn su
gnero, y toda ave alada segn su especie: y vi Elohim que era bueno. And Elohim blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

22 Vayvarech otam Elohim lemor; peru urevu umil'u et-hammayim baiyammim, veha'ovf yirev ba'aretz.
Y Elohim los bendijo diciendo: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid las aguas en los mares, y las aves se multipliquen en la tierra. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

23 Vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm chamishi. f

Y fu la tarde y la maana el da quinto. The Sixth Day: Creatures on Land And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

24 Vaiyomer Elohim tovtze ha'aretz nefesh chaiyah leminah, behemah varemes vechaytov-eretz leminah; vayhi-chen.
Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra seres vivientes segn su gnero, bestias y serpientes y animales de la tierra segn su especie: y fu as.

25 Vaiya'as Elohim et-chaiyat ha'aretz leminah ve'et-habbehemah leminah, ve'et kol-remes ha'adamah leminehu; vaiyar Elohim ki-tovv. and God saw that it was good. E hizo Dios animales de la tierra segn su gnero, y ganado segn su gnero, y todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre
la tierra segn su especie: y vi Dios que era bueno. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps on the earth after his kind: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,

26 Vaiyomer Elohim, na'aseh Adam betzalmenu kidmutenu; veyirdu vidgat haiyam uve'ovf hashamayim uvabbehemah uvechol-ha'aretz, uvechol-haremes haromes al-ha'aretz. and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
Y dijo Elohim: Hagamos al hombre nuestra imagen, conforme nuestra semejanza; y seoree en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en las bestias, y en toda la tierra, y en todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra. So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.

27 Vaiyivra Elohim et-ha'Adam betzalmov, betzelem Elohim bara otov; zachar unekevah bara otam.
Y cri Elohim al hombre su imagen, imagen de Elohim lo cri; varn y hembra los cri. And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl

28 Vayvarech otam Elohim vaiyomer lahem Elohim peru urevu umil'u et-ha'aretz vechivshuha; uredu bidgat haiyam uve'ovf hashamayim, uvechol-chaiyah haromeset al-ha'aretz. of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
Y los bendijo Elohim; y djoles Elohim: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y seoread en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en todas las bestias que se mueven sobre la tierra.
And Elohim said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

29 Vaiyomer Elohim hinneh natatti lachem et-kol-esev zorea' zera asher al-penei chol-ha'aretz, ve'et-kol-ha'etz asher-bov feri-etz zorea' zara; lachem yihyeh le'achelah. Y dijo Elohim: He aqu q os he dado toda hierba q da simiente, q est sobre la haz de toda la tierra; y todo rbol en q hay
fruto de rbol q da simiente, seros ha para comer. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

30 Ulechol-chaiyat ha'aretz ulechol-ovf hashamayim ulechol rovmes al-ha'aretz asher-bov nefesh chaiyah, et-kol-yerek esev le'achelah; vayhi-chen. Y toda bestia de la tierra, y todas las aves de los cielos, y todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, en que hay vida, toda hierba verde les ser para
comer: y fu as. And Elohim saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

31 Vaiyar Elohim et-kol-asher asah, vehinneh-tovv me'od; vayhi-erev vayhi-voker yovm hashishi. f
Y vi Elohim todo lo que haba hecho, y he aqu que era bueno en gran manera. Y fu la tarde y la maana el da sexto.

The Seventh Day: God Rests (Exodus 16:22-36; Hebrews 4:1-11) Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

1 Vaychulu hashamayim veha'aretz vechol-tzeva'am.

Y FUERON acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo su ornamento. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

2 Vaychal Elohim baiyovm hashevi'i, melachtov asher asah; vaiyishbot baiyovm hashevi'i, mikkol-melachtov asher asah.
Y acab Elohim en el da sptimo su obra que hizo, y repos el da sptimo de toda su obra que haba hecho. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

3 Vayvarech Elohim et-yovm hashevi'i, vaykaddesh otov; ki vov shavat mikkol-melachtov, asher-bara Elohim la'asovt. f
Y bendijo Elohim al da sptimo, y santificlo, porque en l repos de toda su obra que haba Elohim criado y hecho.

The Creation of Man These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

4 elleh tovldovt hashamayim veha'aretz behibbare'am; beyovm asovt hashem elohim eretz veshamayim.
Estos son los orgenes de los cielos y de la tierra cuando fueron criados, el da que Jehov Dios hizo la tierra y los cielos, 5

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was not a man

5 Vehol siach hassadeh terem yihyeh va'aretz, vechol-esev hassadeh terem yitzmach; ki lo himtir YHWH Elohim al-ha'aretz, ve'adam ayin, la'avod et-ha'adamah. to till the ground.
Y toda planta del campo antes q fuese en la tierra, y toda hierba del campo antes q naciese: porque aun no haba YHWH Elohim hecho llover sobre la tierra, ni haba hombre para q labrase la tierra;

But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

6 ve'ed ya'aleh min-ha'aretz; vehishkah et-kol-penei-ha'adamah.

Mas suba de la tierra un vapor, que regaba toda la faz de la tierra. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

7 vaiyitzer hashem elohim et-ha'adam afar min-ha'adamah, vaiyippach be'appav nishmat chaiyim; vayhi ha'adam lenefesh chaiyah. Form, pues, YHWH Elohim al Adam del polvo de la Adamah, y alent en su nariz soplo de vida; y fu el hombre en alma viviente.
The Planting of the Garden And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

8 vaiyitta hashem elohim gan-be'eden mikkedem; vaiyasem sham, et-ha'adam asher yatzar.
Y haba YHWH Elohim plantado un huerto en Edn al oriente, y puso all al Adam que haba formado.
And out of the ground made the YHWH Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

9 vaiyatzmach hashem elohim min-ha'adamah, kol-etz nechmad lemar'eh vetovv lema'achol; ve'etz hachaiyim betovch haggan, ve'etz hadda'at tovv vara. Y haba YHWH Elohim hecho nacer de la tierra todo rbol delicioso la vista, y bueno para comer: tambin el rbol de vida en
medio del huerto, y el rbol de ciencia del bien y del mal. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became into four heads.

10 Venahar yotze me'eden, lehashkovt et-haggan; umisham yippared, vehayah le'arba'ah rashim.
Y sala de Edn un ro para regar el huerto, y de all se reparta en cuatro ramales. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

11 Shem ha'echad Pishovn; hu hassovev et kol-eretz hachavilah, asher-sham hazzahav.

El nombre del uno era Pisn: ste es el que cerca toda la tierra de Havilah, donde hay oro: And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

12 Uzahav ha'aretz hahiv tovv; sham habbedolach ve'even hashoham.

Y el oro de aquella tierra es bueno: hay all tambin bdelio y piedra cornerina. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasses the whole land of Ethiopia.

13 Veshem-hannahar hasheni gichovn; hu hassovvev, et kol-eretz kush.

El nombre del segundo ro es Gihn: ste es el que rodea toda la tierra de Etiopa. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goes toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

14 veshem hannahar hashelishi chiddekel, hu haholech kidmat ashur; vehannahar harevi'i hu ferat.
Y el nombre del tercer ro es Hiddekel: ste es el que va delante de Asiria. Y el cuarto ro es el Eufrates.

15 vaiyikkach hashem elohim et-ha'adam; vaiyannichehu vegan-eden, le'avedah uleshamerah. 16 vaytzav hashem elohim, al-ha'adam lemor; mikkol etz-haggan achol tochel. 17 ume'etz hadda'at tovv vara, lo tochal mimmennu; ki beyovm achalecha mimmennu movt tamut. 18 vaiyomer hashem elohim, lo-tovv heyovt ha'adam levaddov; e'eseh-lov ezer kenegdov. 19 vaiyitzer hashem elohim min-ha'adamah kol-chaiyat hassadeh ve'et kol-ovf hashamayim, vaiyave el-ha'adam, lir'ovt mah-yikra-lov; vechol asher yikra-lov ha'adam nefesh chaiyah hu shemov. 20 vaiyikra ha'adam shemovt lechol-habbehemah ule'ovf hashamayim, ulechol chaiyat hassadeh; ule'adam lo-matza ezer kenegdov. 21 vaiyappel hashem elohim tardemah al-ha'adam vaiyishan; vaiyikkach achat mitzal'otav, vaiyisgor basar tachtennah. 22 vaiyiven hashem elohim et-hatzela asher-lakach min-ha'adam le'ishah; vayvi'eha el-ha'adam. 23 vaiyomer ha'adam zot happa'am etzem me'atzamai, uvasar mibbesari; lezot yikkare ishah, ki me'ish lukochah-zot. 24 al-ken ya'azav-ish, et-aviv ve'et-immov; vedavak be'ishtov, vehaiu levasar echad. 25 vaiyihyu sheneihem arummim, ha'adam ve'ishtov; velo yitboshashu.
