Systems Development

Preferably with knowledge in Oracle Reports, Forms, and PL/SQL programming in a Unix/Linux environment; Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle; Background in the retail business, an advantage; Experience in working in an ISO or Comma compliant IT company is desired; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage; Willing to travel and be assigned abroad for short-term assignments;

ANALYST/PROGRAMMER (Java) Retail Systems

Systems Development

Provide software development services including support, development, and maintenance for POS and retail application systems; Provide communication and participate in regular and ad-hoc client management meetings Collect and study user requirements; Perform analysis, design, and programming; Prepare and deploy software changes to both production and development systems; Adheres to the companys software development standards and guidelines; Willing to travel and work/visit client sites in Asia; Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs according to specifications, applying knowledge of programming techniques and methodologies; Prepares test cases, executes testing and submits test results.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
With 2-3 years of IT work experience in a software development capacity; Development and implementation experience in the retail business Store Front and Back Office Operations, Merchandising Systems; At least 1 year of experience in Java SE preferably from an ISO/Comma compliant software house; Experience in Myself databases; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive service for support, development, and maintenance of Oracle Applications (E-business Suite) to support our business functions. Deploy new software changes, patches and program patches to both production and development systems. Attend regular and ad-hoc client management meetings Follow-up debugging and tuning performance issues Maintains all documentation.

Qualifications
Graduate in BS Computer Science, or Accounting or equivalent At least 3 years experience using Oracle E-Business Suite 11i , specifically on AP, GL & FA modules Candidate must have skills in Oracle Reports, Forms, Discoverer, PL/SQL, and Oracle 9i/10g Application Server experience Experience in Unix/Linux environment or Hyperion is an advantage Background in Finance and Retail business is highly preferred Strong in analytical and technical problem solving skills The applicant must be a team player, customer oriented and has the ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the Clients (Open System) Servers & Storage in its global production environment to ensure robust operations and minimal downtime; Coordinate and document new and complex system solutions; Handle end-to-end data transfer solutions for server-client environment; Analyze Open System Servers health and perform first level troubleshooting of issues in a timely and effective manner.; Implement monitoring tools across different platforms for efficient server assessment and capacity planning; Maintains all documentation.

Qualifications:
Graduate in BS Computer Science or equivalent; Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in System Administration skills such as LVM Management, Telnet/SSH, TCP/IP, system security, server monitoring tools (Nagios) in any major UNIX brand e.g. SuSE/Red Hat Linux, HP-UX, AIX; Knowledge in Storage System (IBM, HDS, EMC) is an advantage; Background in Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Oracle Database Administration is highly preferred; Good communication and team leadership skills; Strong in analytical and technical problem solving skills.
