B. Basic Competence Respond the meaning and step of the rhetoric text essay accurately, fluently, and Acceptable each other in daily life context and get access to knowledge in the text of recount, narrative, and procedure text.

Indicator

Students are able to identify minimal 5 pieces of information in the text of Procedure form.

C. Teaching Material Text I Procedure Text Title : How to Make Fried Banana (attached)

Definition Procedure text is a kind of text that explains/show or gives direction/steps to make or to do something. Its social function is to describe how something is completely done through a sequence of series.

Generic Structure of Procedure Text Aim/Goal The title of the text. for example:How to make Kite. Materials/tools Explain the ingredients/tools to make something. Steps/Methods The steps to make something.

Learning Activity Opening Activities (10 minutes) The teacher gives greeting to the students The teacher asks some question to the students about the material, for example : Do you know procedure text? What is procedure text? Have you ever made something?

Main Activities (70 minutes) The teacher shows and explains the procedure text to the students. The teacher shows the materials by using OHP. The teacher gives the exercise to the students. Students do the exercise.

Closing Activities (10 minutes) The teacher gives the conclusion about procedure text. The teacher gives the chance to the students to ask some questions about procedure text.

Text I (Teaching Material)

How to Make Fried Banana Ingredients:

1 ripe black-skinned plantain or 4 small finger banana (make sure that the banana is sweet)

1 egg 1 tsp. sugar 6 Tbs. flour water a pinch of salt vegetable oil for deep frying

Steps:

Place flour in a deep mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle of the flour, and add egg, sugar and salt. Add water little by little. Whisk vigorously until batter is evenly smooth for coating and not too thin. If it is too thin, add more flour.

Peel plantain or banana and cut in half lengthwise and then cut again with 4-inch width. Dip into batter to coat generously.

Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer until moderately hot. Place coated plantain or banana in the wok or deep fryer and fry slowly until golden brown and crispy. This usually take approximately 10-15 minutes. Remove bananas from oil, drain on paper napkins and dry well.

Serve while still warm

Makes 4 servings.

Text II (Learning Material) How to Make Banana Chips Ingredients: 5 Raw Bananas (peeled) 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder Oil for deep-frying Salt to taste

How to make Banana Chips: Put the peeled bananas in salted iced water. Chop the bananas in water and add turmeric. Keep in water for 10 minutes and then drain out water completely. Transfer to a kitchen cloth to remove the moisture. Heat oil till it starts fuming. Deep-fry the slices till almost crisp. Add few slices at a time. Prepare paste of 1/2 tsp water and 1/4 tsp salt. Add this paste to oil. This will make the slices crispier. Repeat the procedure for remaining slices. Drain the chips on an absorbent paper. Cool and store them in an airtight container.

Based on the lesson plan which I have analyzed before, this lesson plan is not complete because:
Language skill is not mentioned in this lesson plan. The indicators are not possible to use. The material is not clear and not complete. The example of the material is not complete. The learning activity is not match with the times. The references are not clear. There must be the title of the book and the name of the writer.
