MARCH 23rd 24 HR PRAYER CHAIN INSTRUCTIONS

Ashlands church planting efforts in Madison County and around the world are the responsibility of the whole church. Each step we take toward having a self-sustaining, reproducing church in Madison County is taken by the whole church, members in Lexington, as well as, Madison County. We want to celebrate this as our Mission in Madison County transitions to an ofcial Campus of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church. We assume that every member of Ashland will be engaged in praying about our Campus Launch in Madison County on March 31st. However, to communicate our unity in vision we are making available the opportunity to participate in a 24hour prayer chain. On March 23rd, members of Ashland Lexington and Ashland in Madison County will be alternating in 30 minute prayer shifts. Lexington folks will be handing off the prayer baton to Madison County folks and vice versa for 24 hours. What a wonderful display of unity in vision and purpose for Madison County! How tos: - Sign up for a 30 minute slot. Write down your time on the back of this sheet as a reminder. You will also be sent a reminder via email the week of March 23rd, as well as, the name and number of the next person on the prayer chain. - Wait until the person ahead of you calls you. Take a moment to communicate your excitement about all God is doing at Ashland in Madison County. - Spend 30 minutes praying for Madison County - Call the next person reminding them to pray and to communicate your excitement about all God is doing at Ashland in Madison County. Its important that we actually call one another and speak on the phone. Our goal is personal interaction between our members rather than text messaging or emails.

What to pray for: - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would be full of folks who delight in the gospel and love one another the way God has loved us in Jesus. (1 John 4:10-11) - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would be faithful to invite others to church on Easter Sunday (March 31st) as well as in the days ahead. (Colossians 4:2-6) - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would be full of intentional witnesses for Christ at Ashland in Madison County. (Acts 1:8) - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would begin to see much gospel fruit from personal evangelism that leads to the conversion of many in Madison County. Romans (1:8-15) - Pray that God would protect Ashland in Madison County from pettiness and self-centered division. (Philippians 2:1-11) - Pray for Pastor Jeremy as he continues to preach and lead our on the ground efforts in Madison County. (James 1:19-25) - Pray that through preaching, singing, and fellowship Ashland in Madison County would continue to grow into a body that loves and serves Jesus faithfully. (Ephesians 4:11-16) - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would have a passion to see the gospel extend from Richmond, Madison County, to the Ends of the Earth. (Matthew 28:16-20) - Pray that Ashland in Madison County would display the glory of Jesus by becoming a diverse, multi-ethnic / multi generational, body of believers who love Jesus more than they love their preferences.
