HDPE Innerduct
Comstar supplies a large selection of HDPE Innderduct
(High Density Polyethelne Innerduct). Our innerduct includes
Corrugated Innerduct, Plenum Innerduct, Riser Innerduct,
SDR Innerduct, Corflo Innerduct, & Maxcell.
Many colors are manufactured for HDPE Innerduct which
include Black, Orange, Green, Red, Blue, Grey, White and
Yellow. Colors are commonly used to specify applications
such as Electrical (Red), Gas (Yellow), etc. HDPE
Innderduct colors can also be used to specify your own
unique applications.
Smooth Wall HDPE Innerduct
Smooth wall is the standard High
Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Duct.
The interior of smooth wall has a glass-like finish which
delivers the lowest coefficient of friction of all available
non-lubricated innerducts.
Ribbed Wall HDPE Innerduct
Ribbed wall innerduct is designed
to allow extremely long cable pulls
to glide through the interior raised ribs. All ribbed wall
innerduct is internally ribbed and available in most SDR
and SIDR ratings.

tensile galvanized support strand
for aerial placement of duct.
The support strand is an integral component of the co-
extruded duct.

Comstar Supply will provide custom cut and parallel cut
innerduct based upon your application needs. All reels can
be customized to include multiple ducts and colors.
Wall Thickness Details:
• SDR wall thickness is contingent upon the type of
projects.
• Standard wall thickness consist of Schedule 40, Sch 80,
SDR 13.5, SDR 11 & SDR 9.

Tracer Wire HDPE Innerduct
Tracer wire innerduct provide a
method of locating underground
fiber optic cable. The tracer wire
is a bare single copper wire gauge co-extruded onto the
exterior of the innerduct providing a corrosion resistant
conductor. Standard wire is 18 gauge. Other options are
available upon request. An alternative method of locating
buried fiber optic cable is to use detectable tape.
Corrugated HDPE Innerduct
The lightweight, flexible corrugated
design makes it easy to handle and
install. The corrugations provide
excellent crush resistance for long term protection of
delicate optical cables. Internal corrugations reduce
surface contact between the inside wall of the conduit and
the cable jacket, lowering friction while protecting the cable
from high tensile stress during installation.
