Ferfrans was started in 1998 with the goal of developing specialized equipment for law enforcement and military organizations. Although all products were manufactured or sourced in the United States, it was the operational requirements of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) and specialized military units in the United States that motivated Ferfrans to design and develop its products. The challenges of the PNP-SAF during that time were very complex, and remain so to this day. It deals with multiple threats from the communist New Peoples Army, Muslim insurgents (MILF and MNLF), terrorist groups (Abu Sayyaf, Jemaah Islamiyah) and organized crime. Also, in this age of heightened terrorism, the line between conventional and unconventional warfare has diminished. As a result the operational needs of military and law enforcement has become more comparable. Special operating units in urban centers conducting hostage rescue today will be the same troops that will battle insurgents in the jungles tomorrow. As our modern age has seen the evolution of unconventional warfare tactics, so must the tools of war evolve. Ferfrans is that evolution. Ferfrans developed the Special Operations Assault Rifle (SOAR) to answer the operational requirements of specialized operating units then, now and in the future. Due largely to the limited resources of the Philippines, the abundance of M16A1 rifles in inventory and troop familiarity with that rifle platform, it was advantageous to use the M16A1 as a platform for modification. The Ferfrans SOAR incorporates modifications and improvements to the M16A1, A2 and M4 that will, among other things, ensure enhanced reliability, accuracy, firepower, ergonomics, operator interface, reduced cyclic rate, improved longevity of parts and increased service life. The primary objective with the SOAR is to increase effective firepower as a force multiplier. This was achieved with the proprietary rate reduction system/independent sear disconnector that reduced the rate of automatic fire by 200 to 250 rounds per minute. The operator has full control of the weapon in fully automatic fire, increasing accuracy and firepower. As early as 2008, the SOAR-P was developed to answer the need for over the beach

operations. Several models were also developed and put into production such as the Personal Defense Weapon (PDW), Mid-length carbines and the High Volume Light Automatic Rifle (HVLAR), to address specific needs of variable combat environments. The latest addition is the Special Operations Adaptive Combat Rifle (SOACR) chambered for the powerful 7.62 NATO. Ferfrans values greatly their relationships with customers. Operational requirements are discussed beyond weapon systems in an effort to support law enforcement and military operators by providing complete tactical solutions. Among other products, specialized communication equipment, ballistic vests, tactical gear, ammunition, optics, night vision equipment and suppressors may be requested when placing initial orders. Ferfrans also provides custom products to fulfill customer needs. In the year 2006, Ferfrans was awarded the contract to refurbish the out of commission M14 rifle and about a thousand M16A1s that were decommissioned and ready for destruction. This is one of the many ways Ferfrans works with customers to provide top of the line tactical solutions that accommodate specific equipment and budgetary concerns. All Ferfrans products are fully supported by the STEPS Program. Included with every order Ferfrans fills is a package of service, training, equipment, product and support (STEPS Program). IRON SIGHTS

OVERVIEW
The SOAR/SOAR-P addresses all issues relating to malfunctions, overheating and uncontrollability. By eliminating bolt bounce and incorporating the Ferfrans rate reduction system, we achieve low cyclic rate and minimal impact that will ensure enhanced reliability, accuracy, increase controllability in full-auto fire, and overall longevity. The main feature of the Ferfrans SOAR is its patented Delayed Sear Activation System (DSAS), a mechanical innovation that reduces fully automatic rate of fire on M16/M4 type rifles from 850-900 rpm to 550-680 rpm. Additionally, the DSAS reduces the velocity (impact stress) of the bolt carrier assembly as it goes into battery making the rifle very controllable and smooth in full-auto fire. As velocity induced stress from the action of the weapon is reduced, so is wear on parts and heat production. Reduced cyclic rate allows operators to more acutely control burst fire in full-auto, eliminating the need for a burst selector mode. The SOARP, the piston driven version of the SOAR, further enhances the benefits noted above. A short stroke piston system, which again incorporates the DSAS, further improves the SOARs performance characteristics by eliminating hot blowback gas and fouling from the equation.

OVERVIEW
The PDW is essentially the ultra-compact version of the SOAR. This model was designed to be the optimal tool for CQB. With all the advantages of our SOAR and SOAR-P, coupled with a 7.5 inch barrel this weapon is capable and extremely versatile. While the PDW has the added advantages of reduced size and weight, it in no way sacrifices the qualities that make the SOAR rifles superior to our competitors. Because it utilizes the Ferfrans Delayed Sear Activation System (DSAS), it has the same iconic controllability, reliability, stress and heat reduction qualities, as well as nearly the same accuracy as significantly longer barreled models. The reduced length has a side effect of shifting the rifles center of gravity closer to the pistol grip. This fact, coupled with the Ferfrans rate reduction system and well designed muzzle break, make for a rifle that is ideal for one handed operation.

FOREGRIP BIPOD

OVERVIEW
The objective in creating the HVLAR Was to create a design that closes the gap between the infantry rifle and the machine gun. The SAW, originally designed to address this gap, was found inadequate in Philippine combat operations. Unlike the SAW, the HVLAR is a specialized weapon whos lightweight maneuverability address the concerns of a CQB environment without sacrificing the ability to deliver suppressive firepower. The HVLAR also brings to the table a level of accuracy in fully automatic fire not capable with existing squad automatic weapons. The superior design, quality engineering, and patented rate reduction system ensure full auto fire that rivals semi-auto accuracy. The SOACR was designed for extreme duty for professionals who demand performance with increased firepower. The Ferfrans SOACR is available in both direct impingement and 4-stage short stroke gas piston operation. The Delayed Sear Activation System (DSAS) is at the heart of this rifles extraordinary performance. Like the SOAR, this rifle boasts improved performance and controllability with nearly no muzzle rise, but in the much more powerful 7.62 x 51 platform. Surprisingly, this larger caliber rifle is just as controllable as our 5.56 NATO models in fully automatic fire. The SOACR is mission adaptable to close quarters, patrol/battle rifle or dedicated marksman needs with three options for barrel length. The inclusion of an adjustable single-stage match grade trigger is ideal for sniper operation. The lower and upper receivers are machined to tight tolerances out of solid aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum billets to achieve the ultimate in precision. The monolithic rail upper platform with free-floating barrel further enhances precision and durability.

Ordering Info The Ferfrans Enhanced Battle Rifle is available by special order only. This is an upgrade kit that we offer to modernize and improve the performance of preexisting M14 rifles. This is only available as an upgrade kit, not as a complete rifle. If you wish to upgrade the M14s you currently have in stock please contact Ferfrans directly and ask them about the EBR. Variable Specifications Because the Ferfrans EBR is only available as an upgrade kit, we cannot provide detailed specs. Although our work is reliably consistent, upgraded rifle specifications will vary based on the particulars of the rifles the client provides.

CUSTOM STOCK

OVERVIEW
The M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle is an improvement on a tried and true design. The EBR replaces the standard M14 stock with custom stock machined from aircraft grade aluminum, keeping the overall weight of the rifle within reason without sacrificing durability. Included on the forend quad rail is a pair of sturdy bipod legs that fold out of the way seamlessly along the upper left and right of the forend, allowing operators to mount accessories to the picatinny rails without interference. Recoil issues of the standard M14 design are counteracted on both ends of the rifle. The butt stock is a unique design that effectively reduces felt recoil and the improved muzzle break displaces energy more capably diminishing both felt recoil and muzzle rise. By including a cheek riser on the butt stock and a picatinny rail that hovers over the action of the weapon the EBR is easily converted to a long range rifle when optics are added.

The Ferfrans TSR Gen III stock provides an extremely sturdy and stable mounting platform for bolt action rifles that requires no bedding compounds. The receiver contact points are formulated to provide repeatable point of impact if the barreled action assembly is removed or replaced. We have also built into the system the ability to quickly reconfigure the platform to meet changing mission requirements while utilizing the same barreled action. The TSR Gen III platform consists of 3 major components that are interchangeable, greatly simplifying supply system requirements and all components are field replaceable and maintainable. Multiple positions for detachable rails, compatible receiver mounted optical platforms and a pre drilled slot for a Harris bipod allow operators to customize and maximize the efficiency of the rifles setup. All components can easily be set up to accommodate left or right handed shooters. The butt stock adjustable in 6 ways and will conform ergonomically to any shooter. The TSR is also designed to operate with the already standardized AI style magazines.

Ferfrans sells its rail mounted grenade launcher both as a dedicated launcher with stock (RMGL 403) and as a rail mounted weapon attachment (RMGL 203). A highly simplified design with fewer parts improves ease of maintenance at the operator level and reduces costs associated with spare parts. Includes an ambidexterous safety and release latch. The modular trigger mechanism can easily be repaired or replaced in the field. The RMGL 403 is about 60% lighter than the standard M203. Simple swing lever attachment system can be connected and disconnected from any mil-spec 1913 picatinny rail system. Tilt down barrel accepts all types of low velocity 40mm ammo. The stand-alone rail system of the RMGL 203 allows the launcher to be deployed as a dedicated launcher system when weapon mounting is not an option. Flip up rear leaf and front post sighting system is easily transferable to whatever rail system the launcher is connected to. The barrel meets all U.S. military specifications for materials and rifling. The non-reflective matte finish is available in black, desert sand or woodland green to suit any environments camouflage. OVERVIEW
The RGML 203/403 was designed as an advancement on the standard M203 launcher. This launcher is available as a dedicated launcher (the RMGL 203 pictured above) and as a weapon mounted launcher (the RMGL 403) The Ferfrans 40mm grenade launcher is designed to mount to any mil-spec 1913 picatinny rail system and accepts any standard type low velocity 40mm ammunition It has a modular double action trigger with ambidextrous safety. Trigger mechanism is modular and can be easily repaired in field. The reversible rail latches allow operators to make any railed forend a launcher platform quickly and easily. At a weight of only 1.3 pounds (about 40% the weight of the standard M203) it adds a lot of firepower with very low cost to operator mobility. The RMGL also the advantage of fewer parts (about 1/2 as many parts as the standard M203) which translates to easier operator maintenance and reduced cost of spare parts. Barrel meets U.S. military specifications for material and rifling.

Understanding that speed is just as important as protection, the Ferfrans Armor Carrier is provides heavy armor protection to the most vital organ targets while minimizing weight and maximizing mobility. In spite of the skeletonized form, the carrier and belt don't sacrifice surface area for molle attachments. An easily adjustable one-size-fits-all design also incorporates padding inside the belt and shoulder straps to reduce wear on the user. Magazine and utility pouches are included. At roughly 7.5 x 5.5 in., the Ferfrans F.V.O.K. Med Pouch is perfect for ventilated operator kit storage.
