Excavation upto 3.0m depth from GL in all types of soil for foundation,
trenches, pipe lines, storm water drains,plinth etc. including setting out,
clearing & grubbing, removal of debris, dewatering if required, dressing the
sides, leveling to grade and ramming the bottom, stacking / disposal of
surplus excavated material within a lead of 1km (Radial distance) for all
types of soils including, laterite, morrum, weathered rock, decomposed
rock, soft rock etc. which can be excavated by means of crow bar, pick
axe, mechanical excavator etc (but does not require chiseling or blasting),

loading, transporting, unloading and spreading complete as per drawings,
specifications and instruction of Engineer.Construction power and
Construction water shall be given free of cost at one point only.

Backfilling for foundation, trenches, pipe lines, storm water drains,plinth

etc. including dewatering if required, using selected earth/soils stacked
within the lead of 1.5km (Radial distance) or as directed by Engineer,
including loading, unloading, transporting, watering and ramming in layers
of 20cm thickness to 95% standard proctor maximum dry density,
compacted, leveling and dressing complete as per drawings, specifications

and instruction of Engineer. Construction power and Construction water
shall be given free of cost at one point only.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete ( PCC ) Mix 1:3:6 (with graded
aggregate of nominal size 40mm)as leveling course/fill around foundations,
pipes, floors on grade, water retaining structures, equipment foundations,
under foundations,flooring under bed, etc. including form work, materials,
and labour all complete. O P Cement shall be issued free of cost at APL ,
3 Mundra, Stores.Construction power and Conctruction water shall be given
free of cost at one point only.
 Supplying and laying in position "cement block" masonry work with
concrete blocks of size 200 mm x 400 mm x 150 mm made from M5
compressive strength not less than 5 N/mm2 ,at all elevations for super
structure and substructure in cement-sand mortar (1:4) including mixing
mortar, laying blocks, raking out joints, curing ,scaffolding with all requisite
tools and tackles- equipments as required etc. with all materials complete
as per drawings and specifications. [Cement for mortor shall be supplied
4 free of cost at APL Stores,Mundra, The rate includes the expenditure
towards preparation of blocks.]Construction power and Construction water
shall be given free of cost at one point only.

Providing and laying 12 mm thick plaster in single layer inside the building
wall in cement mortar 1:3 on walls finished smooth including cost of
providing chicken mesh of 150 mm with at junctions of masonry concrete
and steel elements providing scaffolding, hacking the masonry surface,
curing the plaster etc complete as per specification and directions of the
5 Engineer. [Cement shall be supplied free of cost at APL
Stores,Mundra]Construction power and Construction water shall be given
free of cost at one point only.

Providing and Laying rubble soling with specified sizes of approved quality
hard rock rubble or hand broken hard metal of sizes ranging from 100 mm
to 230 mm below finished ground floor level, below foundation level in one
layer of approximately 250 mm thk hand packing, filling in interstices with
sand including watering thoroughly compacting the layer all complete as
6 per drawings and direction of Engineer.Construction power and
Conctruction water shall be given free of cost at one point only.

 Supplying and fixing of 100mm thick, 200mm x 200mm octagonal shape,
M40 grade cement concrete paver blocks including 20 to 40mm thick sand
bedding with gap between blocks filled with well sieved fine sand,
cleaning the top surface for any debris, blocks etc.complete as per
specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer -In- Charge.
[Cement , if required , for fixing the paver blocks only shall be supplied

Construction power and Construction water shall be given free of cost at
one point only.
