ABSTRACT
Background The earlier education system was different on the basis of technologies used during the Management Programs. The laptops and smart phones were rarely used during the MBA programs. This research is basically evaluating the usage of these technologies during MBA programs especially in GTU.

Methods Data Collection, Hypothesis Testing, Data Analysis, Interpretation

Need For the Study To identify the usage and requirements of laptops and smart phones while MBA programs. This study can be significant for the education committees as well as the students of the MBA programs in GTU.

INTRODUCTION
This research project explores the extent to which the usage of technologies growing within different institutes in MBA Programs in GTU. In particular the research focuses on the students who are using laptops and smart phones during their MBA and what is an importance for that.

A student needs a laptop like a fish needs water. Without such a device, studying, researching and writing can be made unnecessarily complicated. As much as universities claim to supply every student with IT equipment, many students encounter difficulties when they try to access a computer in the library. Many students use smart phones with the ability to record voice, capture images, schedule lectures and seminars and take notes, having one of these in a pocket at all times is essential. The usage of USB pen drive will also be considered in the study.

Now a days there is plenty of advanced technologies launched in recent years and its going on and on, so that is very helpful to the students who are pursuing their graduation as well as post graduation. This study will show how MBA students use laptops and smart phones and for what purpose they use these devices practically in their college life.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Overview As per the current scenario, students are inclined towards the various technologies of IT equipments like laptops and smart phones during their college life. Is there any need of these devices or should any institution allow their students the use of these things? In MBA programs there can be a need of this and this study will show the reasons for the same.

Objectives and Aims

Overall Objectives Importance of using IT equipments by the students of MBA in GTU Students perception towards various brands of IT equipments Comparative analysis of various brands of IT equipments

Specific Aim To find out the usage percentage of various IT equipments during MBA program in GTU

RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS

Overview The research will be done on the basis of quantitative research and the usage of IT equipments by the students of MBA institutes. This study will show needs and requirements of the students through various research methods.

Sample Size and Selection of Sample Sample size will be 150 students of various MBA institutes particularly in GTU

Sources of Data Students of MBA institutes in GTU

Quantitative Research Quantitative research usually involves collecting and converting data into numerical form so that statistical calculations can be made and conclusions drawn.

Data will be collected by various means following a procedure and prepared for statistical analysis.

The exploratory data analysis will be done on the basis of data collected and T-test or Z-test will be calculated for Hypothesis testing.
